Sunday, December 25, 2005 MERRY CHRISTMAS Friday, December 23, 2005 They're pitty-patting around with "Troop Reductions." 7,000 reinforcements not sent in from one place, some not sent in from Kuwait. But, hey, Kuwait is a hop, skip and a jump away from Iraq. There are 150,000 US troops in Iraq right now, so what difference does a few thousand more make? Our troops are probably occupying strategic areas in heavily fortified positions. They gave it away a little when they announced on the news that one of the "cut back" strategies will be "REDUCED PATROLS" When they're not patrolling, they're hunkered down in bases that are nothing less than forts. Heavily fortified forts. It sounds just like the Crusades. The lesson of the Crusades was that no Western power can hold on to the Holy Lands. Believe me, the people behind this war - those making money from it - know all about that. Our troops will pull out eventually, either in a Vietnam type full retreat or maybe in a more dignified manner. The bankers and industrialists don't care either way. They don't care if Bush gets impeached or ends up a legend. They don't care how many children starve or get their arms blown off by cluster bombs, nor do they give a tinker's dam how many of our own soldiers come home dead, paralyzed, horribly mangled or brain dead. They just care about the money and power. The MTA sent messenger boys to deal with Roger Toussant and even those lower-echelon 'yes men' treated Toussant with flagrant contempt. They insulted him, patronized him and treated him like a peasant. Mr. Toussant was righfully outraged, but his ego got the better of him. The MTA brass probably wanted a strike. It emptied the TWU's coffers to the tune of one million dollars a day in fines and brought discord to the Union members because of the nine days of wages they have to pay in fines. The TWU will not strike again. In fact, control of the Transit system might even revert back to the city/state because of this ill-conceived strike. The most powerful weapon workers have against exploitation from their employers is to walk out and deny the employer their labor. Workers who cannot do that are slaves. BTW, after crying poverty for years, the it was revealed that the MTA had a one BILLION dollar surplus. This after they hiked the fares, too! The Saddam trial is back in the news. Saddam made his reappearance in the news yesterday. Darn, they removed his pocket hanky - now I can't compare it to "appearances" from one month to the next to see if it's unchanged, like I did for November 28 and December 4th. Wednesday, December 21, 2005 Congress passed another appropriations bill to pour $453 BILLION MORE into the war(s) in Iraq and Afghanistan. $29 Billion went to Hurricane Katrina rebuilding. (Hotels, casinos and resorts?) The insurance companies refuse to pay out for Hurricane Damage, because floods did the damage. Don't matter that Katrina CAUSED the floods. Majority Leader Senator Bill Frist proudly announced, "We need to tighten our belts and learn how to do more with less. ...and today we have delivered for the American People. This is what Congress delivered: $49 Billion EXTRA CUTS over the next 5 years, "mostly" (What, a $5.00 cut for Congress' navy bean soup?) for STUDENT LOANS, MEDICARE and MEDICAID "Sorry, son. I know you graduated High School with a 3.8 index, but we can't afford to send you to college. I just got laid off from the plant, and Congress cut the college loans. I know - maybe you can study to become an electrician instead of an electrical engineer, or maybe enlist and go get your legs blown off in Iraq and wait six years while the VA keeps refusing to pay for prosthetics?" "Sorry, Mrs. O'Malley, but Medicaid won't pay for the hearing aid you need, or new glasses. or the heart procedure that would give you an extra fifteen years of healthy life. "What?" Alaska Senator Ted Stevens again failed to open the Arctic National Widlife Refuge to oil drilling by adding it as a rider to pentagon funding. A few more oil spills in Alaska won't do too much harm, eh? I heard on the PBS "News Hour" last night that Bush did indeed authorize the NSA to spy on domestic organizations, such as peace groups and others but that there were "filters" in place that searched for "Key Words" like "bomb," etc. Maybe they also red-flagged words and terms like, "Freedom of Speech," "Our government is lying" and "Bush is an Idiot." The illegal wiretapping and internet/Email snooping were all FELONIES. I sincerely doubt that President Bush will be impeached for these felonies, though. I doubt that Congress will even Censure him. George Orwell was right. BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING. The Transit Worker's strike is making a mess here in New York. Our Governor and Mayor are both calling the strike a "shameful act. It's also illegal for municiple workers to strike, thanks to the Taylor Law. Don't workers have the right to strike? How else can they exercize any power over their employers, in this case the city/state government? The Taylor Law is illegal, since it violates the rights of workers. If workers can't strike, they have no power. If workers have no power, then they are slaves. The TWU is being fined $1 Million every day of the strike. The TWU workers are being fined two days pay for each day they stay out. The TWU owns their headquarters buliding, valued at 30 to 40 million dollars, so they can go for a month and pay the illegal fine by selling their building. The workers will go deeper in debt. Mayor Bloomberg calls the strike, "thuggish," "holding the people of NY hostage." Considering how much the TWU and its members are losing by excersizing the only real power workers have, who is really "thuggish" and being held hostage? Reagan started this Neo Union-Busting trend when he fired the stiking Airport Tower Controllers for exersizing their power to strike. What good are labor unions when our government passes laws and takes actions that makes them powerless? All of that said, this strike is a pain in the ass and I hope the MTA and TWU will act like adults and end it. BTW, the MTA negotiators are pompous, arrogant, egotistical, condescending and insulting. Insulting and angering the Union is not very smart. Both sides are stubborn, too. Not a good situation. Monday, December 19, 2005 Bush tells us, "We have an enemy that would like to strike at the United States of America." I suppose his handlers told him not to say "Homeland" because of the increasing awareness of the fascist overtones that term has. "The Homeland" sounds too much like "The Fatherland." He defended domestic spying on US citizens as neccessary to our security, that it was a shameful act on the part of those who leaked it to the press and further, that just discussing it "is helping our enemies." Why didn't he just say, "We have an enemy." "We're at WAR." "Questioning the government helps our ENEMY, you damned TRAITOR!" Our Fearless Leader also tells us that Iraq is central to "the war on terror." Iraq was never implicated in the 9-11 attack. Our own government acknowledged that Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11. Iraq never attacked us, nor threatened to attack us. The WMD was faulty intelligence based on Saddam's PAST behavior of using chemical weapons. Mr. President, you forgot to tell us that Saddam's chemical weapon artillery shells were made in the USA and supplied to Iraq by the US Government during the US-Soviet "proxy war" pitting Iraq against Iran. You also forgot that those binary chemical weapons had long reached their expiration dates and had all been disposed of when they became too unstable. LONG BEFORE US TROOPS STEPPED FOOT IN IRAQ. I've also seen "alternative" evidence, such as photos from certain "Concentration Camps" that show that they were actually prisons holding convicted criminals. Saturday, December 10, 2005 OK, now investigators are again saying that Rigoberto Alpazar claimed to have a bomb in a carry-on bag, even though carry-on luggage is practically examined with a microscope in the paranoid post 9-11 world we live in. They even make you take off your damn shoes! The two passengers who said that Alpazar never even mentioned a bomb don't matter. They shot an unarmed man dead because he was belligerent and threatened them. Oh, yeah, they said he said he had a bomb even though eyewitnesses said he never said it. Hear what I'm sayin'? There's a small, "sawed-off" type of pump shotgun called the "Bodyguard" that holds about three 12gauge shells, two in the magazine and one in the chamber. Ultra concealable firepower used by, yes, bodyguards, FBI and Secret Service agents for years. Because of its concealability private ownership of this weapon is generally prohibited. 12gauge stun shells that fire bags of rat shot have also been available for years. Law enforcement personnel working in pairs always "bracket" a suspect. That is, they try to stand at 90 degree angles to eachother to avoid shooting one another if they have to open fire. How about one Air Marshal brackets an unruly passenger with a "Body Guard" shotgun loaded with stun shells while his partner holds his 10mm loaded with deadly "Hydra-Shok" rounds at the ready? Or how about Tazer guns? Let's face it, even though the "9-11 Commission" gives the US a "failing grade," passengers are not going to to get guns or bombs past security. Airport security is NOT as lax as we are led to believe. Just ask someone who had to stand on a cold, dirty airport floor in their stocking feet while their shoes were searched for traces of Osama bin-Boogeyman. Our law enforcement groups CAN use non-lethal force now and then instead of blowing people away, can't they? Friday, December 9, 2005 New, disturbing news about Rigoberto Alpazar, the man shot dead by Air Marshals in Miami: Two passengers came forward and gave a totally different eyewitness account of what happened. According to the news, "Both claimed they did not hear Alpazar say anything about a bomb, but investigators insist he was belligerant and threatened the two Air Marshals, who shot him." Looks like I was too quick to play "Marshal's Advocate" after all. Now there were TWO Air Marshals who shot him for being "belligerent" and threatening them. Even if he did go for a carry-on bag, which seems suspect now (carry-on luggage is thoroughly searched, X-Rayed, & eyeballed), the fact that "investigators" changed their story so radically seems to indicate a wrongful death. So that means if I get loud with an Air Marshal and threaten to knock his teeth out, he and his partner can "bracket" me and shoot me dead. Air Marshals use a special type of bullet called a "Hydra-Shock." It's a hollow point on steroids, designed for zero pass-through and maximum energy delivery. In other words, it does not zip through a person. Instead it mashes a grapefruit-sized cavity halfway through a human being, totally detroying everything it hits. It's designed to be instantly lethal against soft targets. I guess some law enforcement people should not have guns. Non-lethal, yet effective firearms can be used on airplanes. (For low-priority threats such as single beligerant drunks, etc.) Conventional firearms should still be issued, but used only when neccessary. I don't care if they don't like carrying an extra ["bean bag"] gun. Human life is more inportant than a minor inconvienience to the people who are supposed to PROTECT us. Little Kevlar cloth sacks filled with rat shot can be fired at "belligerent" passengers to knock them on their ass, usually without permanent harm. Many years ago I bought such a weapon; a metal baton (a weapon in itself) chambered to fire a small bag of rat shot at about 300FPS using a small CO2 cannister of the type used in BB guns. Weapons like these can be loaded with low pressure smokeless powder cartridges. AND they can be made compact, clip-fed, with a reasonable number of shots before you need to reload them. I really do not like the idea of using deadly force for home defense when a good solid club and "bean bag" stun gun will do. The Federal Air Marshals should feel the same way. I can't pass too much judgement yet until more facts come in, but bloodthirsty bastards should not be given badges and guns. As for the war Iraq: Mothers of fallen US soldiers made comments on TV news about their sons being "Liberators" and fighting to bring "Freedom" to Iraq. They were "helping" the Iraqis. Too bad they didn't interview Cindy Sheehan, whose son's life was wasted by cynical, greedy sociopaths who don't care who suffers to make them richer and more powerful, unless of course THEY have to suffer to make more money. "Freedom" has nothing to do with it. Millions of innocent Iraqis and Afghanis have suffered and/or died because there's money to be made not just from oil, but from war itself. The Rothchild banking families know that all too well. Thursday, December 8, 2005 We all know about the air marshal who shot and killed the mentally ill man who claimed he had a bomb on an airplane. Many people expect me to start ranting about the air marshal being "trigger happy," but I won't. Hell, I would have shot the guy, too. He SAID he had a bomb (screamed it, in fact) then reached into his bag. Shoot - No shoot situation. SHOOT before his hand reaches the bomb and kills a lot of people. The poor bastard is better off dead than locked up in a nut house being tortured for ten years with "antipsychotic" drugs. The "bomber" had already been diagnosed as "bipolar," which meant that he'd already been in the hands of psychiatrists. Psychiatrists prescribe toxic drugs that CAUSE psychotic episodes and mania. Or maybe the guy committed "Suicide by cop." Whatever the case may be, my prayers are with his family and all the other victims of psychiatry. Yes, I'm saying the man's death was probably caused by a psychiatrist at least in part. These drugs cause brain damage and over time dramatically change the very structure of the brain, shrinking the frontal lobes while grossly swelling other areas. Political prisoners in Soviet Russia were tortured with "antipsychotic" phenothiazine drugs; given the SAME drugs and doses as people here in American mental hospitals. In Russia, it was torture. In America, it's "therapy." I call it B.S. The phenothiazine drugs are Dopamine antagonists - they decrease the amount of Dopamine in your brain. Dopamine is neccessary for a feeling of well-being. Blocking it causes distress and torture. The new "atypical" drugs such as Risperdal, first marketed in 1994, attack both Dopamine and Serotonin. Serotonin is released when you eat "comfort foods." It blocks two major neurotransmitters that human beings need just to feel "OK." When we don't have enough Dopamine or Serotonin, we feel discomfort ranging from from restlessness to the agonizing anguish that typifies "Akathesia," a so-called "side-effect" that is in fact not a "side," but rather a MAIN effect of these drugs. Hopelessness, despair, suicidal ideation and violent outbursts are all common "side-effects" of neuroleptic (antipsychotic) drugs. Ever wonder why so many mental patients commit suicide? Wonder no more. Risperdal is used extensively on elderly people in nursing homes, even though the company that makes it says its HARMFUL to geriatric patients. Psychiatrists are forcing this stuff on children, teenagers, adults and elderly alike for the sole purpose of making easy money and justifying their existence. If psychiatrists don't prescribe this garbage, they don't make enough money. Ritilin is another brain-damaging drug that Tom Cruise spoke out about. We are lied to constantly about virtually everything that happens outside of our country. And we STILL don't catch on, even as one lie after the next is exposed. Why? Under Saddam, Iraqis had the right to keep and bear arms. When our troops first invaded, a primary objective was to go from house to house confiscating firearms. I watched TV news broadcasts of our troops commenting about how many weapons they found in virtually every dwelling. There were probably many more weapons buried nearby. The citizens of Iraq overwhelmingly outnumbered Hussein's forces. If Saddam was such a brutal dictator, why wouldn't his people rise up against him, like they're doing against the overwhelming American forces? Well, if Uncle Sam wants to send your son to die in Iraq, we first have to be convinced that Saddam is a bad guy and poses a danger to us. Saddam has been called "delusional" so that we laugh at him. Yeah, that's an adult approach to making us accept it. The sad part is, it works. OK, how do we know what's really going on with this trial? We're told that he's been charged with murdering 148 innocent people in a small village back in the 1980's. We see the same footage over and over, like those meaningless video clips of a young Saddam standing around talking to army officers. Where were those tapes made? When? Are they even remotely related to the alleged massacre he's on trial for? What about the 600,000 Iraqi children and babies who died during the US "sanctions" (blockade) following Papa Bush's Gulf War? Food and medical supplies were cut off and innocent people died in Iraq, many because a simple 50 cent plastic tube was not available in hospitals. Constant bombing raids smashed and resmashed Iraq's water treatment plants and other vital infrastructure. Then Secretary of State Madeline Albright not only admitted that all of this was happening but even said, "It's worth it...[to depose Saddam Hussein]" I wonder if it would have been "worth it" if her own family members were dying? How do we even know that we're actually seeing Saddam on TV at all? It could all be actors and actresses AND it might have all been recorded years ago. Just because you see video on TV it doesn't mean that the story we're being told is true. It doesn't mean that the VIDEO is authentic, either. The official number of our soldiers wounded in Iraq is: 15,000 Fifteen THOUSAND wounded. As well as the 2001+ officially dead. Isn't that equal to or greater than the number of wounded in Vietnam over the same period of time that this present war has been fought? 50,000+ Americans died during the Vietnam war. Body armor and modern medicine keeps many of our soldiers breathing (and often nothing more) who would have surely died in the 1960's and '70's. "They" told us that the war was OVER right after the invasion. Lunatics like myself insisted from the beginning that the invasion was just the beginning of the war. The news report said that "Patriots" are signing up in record numbers. Listen up, boys and girls: signing up to go fight and get crippled or killed in Iraq is not "Patriotic." It's downright stupid. The misguided young soldiers in Iraq are NOT defending their country or bringing "Freedom and Democracy" to Iraq. They are there to make rich bankers and industrialists richer and more powerful. Body armor protects the chest cavity, and Kevlar "Fritz" helmets provide only limited head protection. Missing limbs, missing faces, spinal injuries. Thousands of our young people coming home PERMANENTLY DISABLED. Ask our president some REAL questions, like "How many CRIPPLED young men and women are coming home from this disgusting oil war?" "How many HEAD TRAUMA cases are coming home with severe brain damage?" The "mission" will never be completed. The Iraqi people don't want US there. "We" are not "Liberators," we are INVADERS. Will we ever wise up? Thursday, October 20, 2005 I watched coverage of Saddam Hussein�s trial on the TV news last night. Video of a haggard-looking Saddam flashed across the screen as a reporter told us about Saddam was insisting that he was still the president of Iraq (either stubbornly or delusionally) and refused to recognize the legitimacy of the court, but finally entered a "not guilty" plea at the urging of his attorney. The "brutal dictator" was facing charges of ordering the executions of a group of men and teenagers. There wasn�t much else before the scene cut away to show a woman dressed in traditional Arab garb speaking about how wonderful it was to finally see this �brutal dictator� brought to justice. It was obvious that the video was dubbed because her lips were not in sync with her dialog. At least they dubbed it with a an Arab-sounding voice. I was wondering why we were not TOLD that the video was dubbed. Iraq was a SECULAR STATE under Saddam; it was not ruled over by mullahs or other religious authorities. That�s another thing that puzzled me about the footage of the woman in traditional Moslem black 'mummy' clothing. Why did she go from wearing Western style clothing and makeup and plunge back into 16th century religious clothing? Also under Saddam the people had the right to keep and bear arms. If anybody can remember far enough back, one of the first objectives our invading forces�oh, excuse me, that�s, "Liberating Forces" had was to go from house to house confiscating weapons from Iraqi citizens. �They all have weapons!� I remember one of our soldiers exclaiming in amazement on the TV news. I hope the kid is still alive. If he was really so bad, why didn�t the people take up arms and overthrow him? Saddam�s army was outnumbered by the Iraqi people. The Iraqi resistance fighters have no trouble mobilizing against our troops, so why didn�t THEY get rid of the "brutal dictator" themselves and save US the trouble? Allison Barber, �a senior Pentagon Official� prepped the soldiers. Presidents have capable people �behind the scenes� who write all their speeches, script all their �spontaneous dialogs� and try to keep them from saying something stupid. Just as I�ve said all along. Our presidents are not in charge. They�re just cardboard cutouts that our real rulers (bankers, industries) hide behind. Presidents don�t even THINK for themselves; everything they say and do is thought up by �handlers.� OK, WHY did our media expose Bush this way? He�s a Lame Duck (second term) president, so he doesn�t care if you love him or hate him. We�re stuck with him until his second term runs out. Gas shortages are almost always (alright, ALWAYS) deliberately created to gouge US at the pump. During Katrina I said to expect prices up to $5 or $6 a gallon. Wait. It might happen one day soon. A wacky thought: Yes, the Indian Continent is colliding into Pakistan at the rate of two inches per year, making the area prone to earthquakes. But, what if this recent quake was artificially induced for political (conquest, control) reasons? Before you scoff, read: Nicola Tesla accidentally started an earthquake in Manhattan � back in the 1920�s � when he attached a mechanical piston resonator to a beam in his lab. The piston struck the beam repeatedly and very rapidly. Tesla accidentally found just the right frequency (number of times per second) for the piston to strike the steel beam. The bedrock started resonating, the resonance spread and Tesla was forced to smash the resonator with a sledgehammer before it caused a major disaster. This is true. Attacks on US Forces in Iraq were downplayed in the news today. They spent maybe ten seconds showing us some meaningless footage of military vehicles and a few guys running around. Mayor Michael Bloomberg of New York (my hometown) announced that it has been learned from �credible sources� (don�t you just love those credible sources?) that the NY subway system will be attacked in the next few days. Backpacks or baby carriages might be used to get bombs onto trains. What are the �credible sources?� Who gave them the intel? �We can�t reveal that.� Oooo, super top-secret James Bond kinda stuff, huh? Or maybe its just more bovine excrement. Hey, is this Washington or New York? Is president Bush hiding under a Mike Bloomberg disguise?? Maybe some poor hypno-conditioned sap will really be sent into the subway system to blow up him or herself up and not even realize what happened. Sunday, October 2, 2005 At least one �secondary� levy break in Louisiana might have been done deliberately by the local fire department. (The levy broke TWO DAYS AFTER Katrina) If this is true then it constitutes �gentrification by flood.� �Unsubstantiated reports� claim that at least one levy was broken on the grounds that it was about to collapse anyway. OK, if a levy is going to collapse and destroy all the homes in a POOR black area, then quickly reinforce it. Many say there is a conspiracy to get rid of poor black people and rebuild the area for affluent people. Wealthy people come in all colors, though they are usually disproportionately white. It�s not a racial issue; it�s a money issue. When the area is rebuilt, expect to see rich people in summer homes; casinos, hotels, resorts. If the poor black people who lived there are compensated at all, it will be for pennies on the dollar for the land that their houses once stood on. Louisiana has perhaps the most corrupt city and state officials as well as the most corrupt police force and other agencies in the United States. Add to that the fact that they�ve been hurtin� for money for many years. Before Katrina, anybody driving through Louisiana with an out of state license plate, especially Northern states like New York was likely to be pulled over by local and state police and given tickets for traffic violations they didn�t commit. �Illegal lane change� was a favorite. There was a 20/20 investigative report years ago documenting just such a police stop. The lead car (New York plate) and chase car (Louisiana plate) were both outfitted with cameras and equipment to record and document speed and lane changes and so forth. Not a single traffic violation was documented, yet the lead car was pulled over for �illegal lane change.� Out of state cars were regularly impounded, confiscated and sold at auction to fill the empty local and state coffers. If a �hidden compartment� was found, the car was confiscated under the drug laws, even if no drugs or other contraband was found. �Hidden compartments� were usually part of the design of the car, easily discovered by looking at a printout of the factory design specs. Louisiana police were stealing peoples� cars and selling them! Given that type of fiscal climate, I have little trouble giving credence to displaced poor peoples� accusations of a conspiracy to push them out and steal their land so that local and state government can sell it to wealthy developers who would in turn bring money in with taxes and tourism. China owns Cosco, which seems to be growing as large as Walmart. Chinese imports are increasing exponentially and Chinese products are actually high quality. Maybe China is replacing America as the international (Rothchild) bankers' favorite money making tool. China has room to grow as they become the largest Communist/Capitalist entity in the world. Bankers make more money dealing with governments than with private individuals and the Chinese government has "all the money". While we watch endless coverage of the hurricane disaster, about 100 thousand people marched in Washington yesterday protesting the war. The "Raging Grannies" also marched. I don't think the police will fire teargas at old ladies, even if they're "raging." Cindy Sheehan spoke out about how the Iraq invasion was based on lies. She should only know about 9/11 and Afghanistan. As I write later on in this rant, no passenger remains were ever found at the Pentagon. No significant wreckage (The plane was gigantic) was found, either. "It all burned up in the intense heat." OK, then why did the passengers' remains magically show up, shipped by airplane, to a base in Dover? How did human remains survive a fire that obliterated tons of metal? Were they killed somewhere else? They weren't found at the Pentagon. The Vietnam era will look like a dress rehearsal before this is over. Especially if just one single piece of damning evidence becomes public. Our Commander in Figurehead will be arrested and prosecuted for conspiracy to mass murder, treason and sedition. Fraud, too. And now, more coverage of Hurricane Katrina and it's aftermath: I've been watching coverage of Katrina disaster relief fund raising efforts. Yes, it is inspiring and heart warming to see so many private citizens raising money and collecting canned foods, water, batteries and flashlights, diapers and all the other necessary supplies. Its also discouraging to watch all this. After all, in the "richest country on earth," shouldn't government at Federal and local levels have been prepared for this? Don't we pay enough taxes for our government to stock warehouses with military Meals Ready to Eat (MRE's), emergency water and the other needed supplies? I never see any "Support the War" fundraising efforts. Our Fearless Leaders just dip into our tax dollars and take whatever they need to buy weapons and equipment to send our troops to fight and die over oil. It's disgraceful that our government always has enough money to start wars and invade soveriegn nations, but when a disaster hits, the People have to chip in. Our Congress constantly tacks on "riders" to every Bill they float for approval - pork barreling riders that our representatives sneak in to curry favor with their own local constituents to get reelected. Like the $233 MILLION spent on a bridge in Alaska to provide easy access to an island with a population of 50. I'm not joking. They spent 233 million dollars to build a bridge to an island that has only 50 people living on it. Maybe the representative who snuck that rider into the bill made a deal with land developers? Real Estate people and builders can make a LOT of money gobbling up wilderness areas so people can buy a house "where the dear and the antelope roam." The Resort Industry can get a sweet deal too. How about all that Federal money that Louisiana got to shore up their levies? It seems that instead of building concrete sea walls, the state government of Louisiana used the money for other things, some necessary, some frivolous. Greed, corruption, mismanagement and plain stupidity. And now, a word from our war: "Insurgents" and "terrorists" are still fighting our troops in Afghanistan and Iraq. Whenever our Fearless Leaders send our military to invade a country; the people there who FIGHT BACK are just insurgents/terrorists, eh? When you invade a foreign land, expect the people who live there and their neighbors to chip in to take their lands back. Why do the "insurgents" throw everything they have, including their lives, into "evildoing" against our invading forces? The Iraqis and their insurgent neighbors are trying to repel an invading army that is there to steal their resources and impose puppet governments to subjugate them. Our media extols the "first free elections" in Afghanistan and Iraq. US "sponsored" elections, that is. We're all shocked that the evildoers even resist our efforts to rebuild their shattered infrastructure (and add a few oil pipelines). I guess it doesn't matter that our bombs and missiles smashed everything to begin with. We're just there to "help" them. Wednesday, September 21, 2005 Well, they're still finding car bombs and such, "Primed and ready to detonate" just before the "Evil Doers" can set them off. I saw a photo of one such device on the TV news. It was shaped somewhat like a bottle and sparsely covered with short, thick nails, the points all facing outward. The bomb itself was misshapen. I couldn't determine if it had been made of some sort of plastic explosive or if it was wrapped with tape. The bomb was not constructed very well at all; the short nails were arranged in vertical rows, with a lot of space between rows and columns. I'm not a terrorist or fanatic, but I know enough about explosive devices to tell you that the device would not have worked very well, even if it was made quality explosives. It looked like the head of a WWI trench mace and in fact that's what I thought it was at first glance. It was a fearsome looking weapon, one that I would take very seriously if it was mounted on a wooden handle. As a nail bomb, though, it would have been pitiful because it simply did not have enough nails to disperse effectively. Real nail bombs consist of a bursting charge of (preferably) high explosive and MANY nails either wrapped onto it with tape or placed between the bursting charge and an outer casing. The IRA used gelignite with ordinary nails wrapped on with tape. They were horribly efficient at killing and maiming over a wide radius. Our own military drops bombs from airplanes designed this way; that is, with a central bursting charge surrounded by shrapnel (bits of metal) and held together by the outer casing of the bomb. Daisy cutters are rather nasty shrapnel bombs that disperse their deadly payload in a more or less thin horizontal plane, fairly close to the ground. Hence the macabre nickname, "Daisy Cutter." To the average person the bomb recovered from one of two car bombs hauled away by London police would inspire shock and fear. The first impression one gets from looking at the photo is the damage it could do to a person if they were CLUBBED with it. The so-called "nail bomb" was most likely a fake, designed to have the maximum psychological effect on the viewers. Or an ignorant fool who knew little to nothing about anti-personnel devices might have made it. The Mujahidin ("Al-Qaeda") were originally trained by the United States military to repel the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. Surviving Mujahidin would pass their Improvised Munitions training onto their successors. The real Mujahidin, or someone trained by them, would not make such a feeble, amateurish bomb. If detonated from inside a car, the small number of nails would be slowed or stopped by the metal of the car itself. In such a case the car would provide the shrapnel to inflict mayhem on bystanders. But the bomb shown was rather small, judging by the size of the nails as compared to the bomb. It would not have been powerful enough to shred the car(s) into deadly fragments. If there were bombs found in the cars at all, they were not made by Mujahidin or anybody trained by Mujahidin, but rather by some pathetic, sick copycat moron. Besides, one properly trained in the use of explosives and improvised explosive devices would booby-trap his devices so they would detonate if found. Real Mujahidin, or "Al-Qaeda" are professional soldiers trained in guerilla warfare. They do not make silly looking, sloppy bombs that fizzle out or otherwise fail to detonate. On the one hand, we are led to believe that ignoramuses are capable of carrying out attacks such as 9/11 and the London blasts and on the other hand they're too incompetent to make bombs that work. So which is it? Are the terrorists professional, US trained soldiers and those trained by these professionals, or are they a bunch of stupid, incompetent "camel jockeys" who get caught trying to light det cord in their sneakers with matches while sitting in a jetliner? Use the brains the Good Lord gave you. The Mujahidin are US-trained explosives experts. One more thing: In an official CNN interview with Osama bin Laden in 1997, bin Laden clearly states that his targets are the occupying US military, not civilians. He just wanted us to leave. "The country of the Two Holy Places has in our religion a peculiarity of its own over the other Muslim countries. In our religion, it is not permissible for any non-Muslim to stay in our country. Therefore, even though American civilians are not targeted in our plan, they must leave ..." Osama's own words, 1997 Why are "our enemies" always "EVIL?" Did you ever wonder about that? I grieve with the families who lost loved ones in the WTC and I mourn the loss of so many lives. I mean no disrespect to the victims, but it's a damn shame so many of us still believe that "Osama did it." OUR OWN GODDAMN GOVERNMENT DID IT!. Why? Money, of course. The international bankers (Rothchild) wanted an oil war to make more money. Money from the oil, money from financing the whole thing. Also, the world economy is in serious trouble, so an oil war was just the ticket to apply another patch to the sinking ship. Hell, the bankers own and run all the major industries anyway, so it's all one big happy (crime) family. No real investigation was ever done at the WTC site. All the evidence was carted off immediately and destroyed, even from areas where there couldn't possibly be any survivors, like the "hot spots" (From the explosives the murderers used) where no living thing could possibly survive. About half a million dollars was spent on the sham investigation. "Part-time" specialists were used and they were actually restricted from examining the steel girders. By contrast, Ken Starr wasted FORTY MILLION dollars of our tax money to investigate Bill Clinton's affair with Monica. Controlled Demolitions, the same company that cleaned up the Murrah building got the WTC contract as well. Maybe they demolished both sites to begin with, eh? We should be angry. But too many of us are not angry at the real culprits. By the way, early (local) reporters told us that two unexploded explosive packs were found in the Murrah Building in Oklamoma. Once the major networks and millionaire news anchors got the story, they didn't mention word one about the explosives found inside the Murrah Building. As in Orwell's "1984," it "went down the memory hole." Nobody talked about it, most of us forgot about it - it never happened. Why? That building was suppoosed to come down all the way, but two major demolition charges failed. The fertilizer truck bomb didn't have nearly enough explosive force to do the kind of damage that building sustained. Nitogen fertilizer/fuel oil is a low velocity explosive. It cannot shatter concrete and leave exposed, twisted rebar. Yet that's what happened to the Murrah building. The building was destroyed (poorly) by demolitions experts. Practice for the WTC? And why didn't they show us WTC7 coming down over and over, like they did the Twin Towers? Maybe WTC7 looked too much like the demolition job it was? Sunday, September 4, 2005 Iraq's Natural Resources When most of us think about Iraq's natural resources we see oil, oil and more oil and we assume that that's all they've really got in the way of useful resources. Iraq has WATER. LOTS of water. Ever here about the Tigris and Euphrates rivers? Iraq had a thriving civilization at a time when our European ancestors were still running around throwing spears to hunt for meat. The Biblical Tree of Life and Eden is believed by many to have been in Iraqi wetlands. Yes, wetlands. Iraq today has vast areas covered with water. The Hussein regime built dams to harness hydroelectric power. So Iraq has WATER. Water makes Iraq a very rich country and vital to any occupying armies. Just as Israel controls the Golan Heights (water), the US now controls, or at least is grasping, Iraq and the water that it has in abundance. In the deserts of the Middle East, if you control the water supply, you control everything. There's a lot more going on in Iraq than just sham elections and oil. The Crusades were a lesson that no Western power could ever keep a permanent hold on the Holy Lands. Many of us haven't learned that lesson, though. We might very well have to withdraw from Iraq one day as we did from Vietnam. September 1, 2005 Gasoline pricees are soaring beyond $3.00 per gallon. Hurricane Katrina will cause the prices to climb even higher, especially down South. Expect prices to go to $5.00, $6.00 or more. and not just in the South. 10% (or less) of the price increases will be because of Katrina, 90% will just be price gouging. Hurricane Katrina is bringing out the best and the worst in people. Thousands of people are volunteering to go help out. Money, water, food and other necessities are pouring in. Then there are the A**holes who are using the tragedy as an opportunity to rape, rob, loot and just "let the badger out." People have to carry firearms to keep from getting robbed, beaten, raped and killed. Business owners are posting signs like, "OWNER ON PREMISES WITH GUN," "LOOTERS WILL BE SHOT. SURVIVORS WILL BE SHOT AGAIN" and the like. Rescue and relief helicopters are being shot at. No reason; just an opportunity to shoot a helicopter. Women and girls are being raped and killed. People are being robbed, beaten and killed just for kicks. National Guardsmen are being shot and wounded by jackasses who just want to run wild. Innocent people are being stopped and in some cases arrested because they're carrying guns to protect themselves from the mentally defective clowns on a robbery/rape/killing spree. The best and the worst. Katrina is drowning out all other news and concerns, albeit with good reason, but let's not forget about other pressing issues, like the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. A heinous scam is being pulled on us regarding the numbers of killed and wounded. If a wounded soldier is brought in and they get a pulse, they enter his/her dogtag ID and punch in 'wounded'. If they don't get vitals, the soldier is triple checked before being "bagged and tagged" KIA. Soldiers are dying minutes after being entered as "casualty" in the computers. They reach a field hospital only to be bagged and tagged, but the official records are NOT upgraded. HOW MANY DEAD SOLDIERS ARE BEING SWEPT UNDER THE RUG? THOUSANDS, perhaps? Our Fearless Leader's announcement of a total of about 2000 KIA is BS. Horribly mangled young men and women are being quietly snuck back home without the TV cameras ever being pointed in their general direction? Body armor protects the torso. The writer describes the saying, �Support our troops � BRING THEM HOME!� as, �The jerk�s refrain.� How about, �Support our troops � send them to Iraq to get crippled or killed.� The article goes on to say that people who �don�t distain their country� are enlisting in record numbers �to serve their country.� Listen, you pampered, neo-fascist �bought my kid a deferment� jackass Bush ass-kissing propaganda scribbling hypocrite; I do NOT �distain [my] country,� I distain how our Fearless Leaders are running our �Homeland.� I put �Homeland� in quotes because I distain that Fascist term that�s now used in place of America, or our Country or our Nation or even The United States. �Homeland� was brought into popular use by President Bush (Jr.) And our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan are NOT �serving their country.� They�re serving the Oil companies, the war industries and the international bankers who finance it all and profit from needless suffering and death. They enter the military with youthful exuberance and heroic fantasies, believing that they�re serving their country and defending freedom and wind up wondering in dismay why the people they�re helping are shooting at them and setting booby traps to kill them. Many soldiers re-enlist because they've formed close bonds with their fellow soldiers. They have to "get back to my unit" as soon as possible and watch their backs. Fighting side by side creates a deep love for eachother; so deep that any one of them would gladly smother a grenade with his own body to save his brothers. The writer was right about that part. But that's not "patriotism" per se. It's a brotherhood formed between men who have fought together and shared hardship and terror. It's a warrior's loyalty to his brothers in arms. The newspaper writer failed to make that distinction. Also, some men and women actually become addicted to warfare. When they come back to "The real world" they just can't fit in. War has blasted them out of everything they knew before and has become the only way of life (and death) they can handle. It's a type of "battle psychosis," "paraphilia", induced personalty disorder or whatever you want to call it. They've seen and done too much to ever return to "normal" life and have become trapped in a tragic cycle that often ends in death or worse. Many other recruits are there because they�re POOR and military service is their only hope to pay for college tuition to better their lives, help their families and get VA benefits after their hitch is up. I hope that jackass newspaper writer is reading this. Monday, August 22, 2005 Amid a growing anti-war movement and increasing numbers of protestors, President Bush bravely announced that we must stay in Iraq to honor the 2000 some-odd uniformed Americans who sacrificed their lives in the Brave New War in Iraq and Afghanistan. Bush said it would be an insult to the memory of all those fallen soldiers if we pulled out now before the mission they fought for was completed. What is that mission? Fight the terrorists and restore "freedom" to Iraq (and Afghanistan?), of course. Iraqis (and the Arab "insurgents" who come to help them) who fight against the invading US forces are "terrorists." Didn't we go to Afghanistan to "fight the terrorists" after 9/11? Now every Arab who raises a weapon resisting the invasion of their "Homeland" is a terrorist? I'm resisting the needless sacrifices of both American and Arab soldiers with the words I'm typing here. Does that make ME a terrorist also? Remember, Bush said, "You're either with US or you're with the terrorists" I'm not "with you," Mr. Bush. Ship me off to Abu Gharib or Camp X-Ray. He didn't mention the casualties at all - just the "official" body count. When a wounded soldier is brought in, the doctor/medic/nurse checks for vital signs. If there's pulse then the soldier is entered into a little hand-held computer as "Wounded," EVEN IF THE SOLDIER DIES FIVE MINUTES LATER. That is fraud of the worst kind. The actual death toll is probably at least twice (or more) as high as the numbers we've been fed. Our presidenbt doesn't mention the numbers of permanently disabled wounded being snuck back home in the middle of the night, far away from public view and news cameras. Families of "wounded" soldiers are often left with the choice of when to pull the plug on a brain-dead "casualty." Body armor protects mainly the torso. Half the brain might be left on the battlefield, but the heart keeps pumping. How many quadriplegic veterans (neck injuries) are coming home? Tell us, Mr. Bush. Young men and women with no legs, no arms, no faces; the alarming number of head trauma cases being shipped home with Purple Hearts but no recognition or fanfare. "My son the War Hero. Thursdsay, August 18, 2005 Early this morning there were news reports of growing tensions in the Gaza Strip. Now Israeli settlers are barricading themselves in and one man is holed up with a rifle threatening to open fire on troops when they come to evict him. If they were Palestinians the Israelis would just come and bulldoze all their houses and bury the barricaded settlers, the rifleman and everything else into a large mass grave/rubble pile. Note that every adult Israeli citizen is also a trained soldier. Every young man and woman must serve in the military to be an citizen of Israel. Upon discharge they each keep a military assault rifle in their home; they are citizen soldiers. Disgruntled Gaza settlers are starting to act like, dare I say, terrorists. Their home town ("Homeland?") has been invaded and they are being pushed out of their own homes. Now some of them are becomming "insurgents." Just like when our troops invaded Iraq, the "terrorists" and "insurgents" actually started fighting against their "Liberators." One of the first mission objectives for our troops was a house-to-house search and seizure of weapons. Since Iraqis had the right to keep and bear arms under Saddam Hussein, when a house was found to be "weapon-free" it only meant that the weapons had been buried somewhere or that the able-bodied men of the household had taken them and were now "with the terrorists" plotting their "evil-doing" (that is, fighting back against the invaders - US!). Quiz: In a Third-World country, where all the citizens have military assault rifles and other weapons, how long would a "brutal dictator" last? Remember, the armed citizens outnumber the brutal dictators military forces many times over. Also under Saddam, the literacy rate for men was 55% and for women it was 45%. It was a SECULAR state; no religious fanatics were in charge of the government. Women regularly got higher education and rose to important positions in the professions and in government. Our government now marvels at how many women are in high positions in Iraq right now. How many of them were already there? Our news media leave a lot of things out... One man grabbed a weapon from a soldier and sprayed a burst at Palestinians, killing three. One Israeli woman set herself ablaze in protest, suffering burns over 70% of her body. I don't mean to anger anyone (and I don't care if I do), but doesn't that sound a lot like how the Palestinians have reacted to the Israeli Holocaust waged against them all these years? People who have lost everything, lashing out in despair. An Israeli settler forced from her home, feeling she has nothing left to lose, sets herself on fire in a suicidal message to the world. An Israeli man fires indiscriminately into a group of Palestinians, whom he sees as the cause of his loss and grief, not caring if he spends. the rest of his life in prison. Why do Palestinians walk into a crowd of Israelis and blow themselves to pieces just to spray ball bearings at other people? Do the Palestinians see Israel as the cause of Israeli aggression, genocide and loss of their homes, property and loved ones killed indiscriminately by patrolling Israeli tanks? How many of us are aware that Palestinian children were routinely cut to ribbons when they peeked out in curiosity at passing Israeli tanks? How would you feel if you watched your home, in fact, your whole neighborhood bulldozed, often without warning, burying families inside. How would you feel? What would you do if you watched your 12 year-old son's head suddenly explode from a sabot slug fired by an Israeli sniper a mile away with a high-powered Barret rifle? As for Iraq, I'm getting physically sick listening to all this flatus about the "terrorists," "insurgents" and "Evil-doers" who bid defiance to US forces who are there to "help" them. Our News Media doesn't even suggest the possibility that these are resistance fighters struggling to free their lands from foreign invaders who are imposing a sham, puppet government on them to perpetuate the domination of their (until recently) sovereign nation. All of these horrible car bombings tend to discredit the Iraqi resistance. The �Evil-doers� do it. How many Americans realize we are being spoken to like we�re children? Think about it. �The �Evil-doers� hate freedom.� Do you realize how stupid that sounds? The bombings cause anger and confusion among the common Iraqis. Perhaps as the WTC atrocity caused shock and anger among Americans? A suicide car bomb ramming into a US military facility can be considered an act of Jihad, or "struggle," but Islamic law strictly forbids the killing of innocents, even during war. What if at least _some_ of those bombings are not being perpetrated by the resistance fighters at all? What if it's a psy-op propaganda campaign carried out by our own government? We have been led to believe that "those damn Arabs" are vicious, bloodthirsty barbarians. "They're animals." Remember Jessica Lynch? The Iraqis pulled her broken body out of a wrecked truck, rushed her to a hospital and used all of their limited resources to save her life. They put steel pins into her broken bones, set her limbs in casts and gave her blood transfusions. When they tried to return her to American lines, their ambulance was fired upon and forced back to the hospital. Were these Iraqis bloodthirsty animals? Lynch's bloodstained clothes were found "cut to pieces." Anyone who has ever seen or experienced Emergency Medical response here in the US knows that accident victims have their clothes cut off to avoid moving their limbs and exacerbating their injuries. Jessica said she doesn't remember the "rapes and beatings" because they never happened. Do you really expect the poor kid to say that our government is lying and that she owes her life to the Iraqis who pulled her from the wreckage? Jessica's "rescue" was painfully ridiculous. There were no Iraqi soldiers within 50 miles of the hospital. Jessie's "rescuers" were firing hundreds of tracer rounds at thin air. But the American people bought it.
