The Missing Gun

I believe people have the right to keep and (when necessary) bear arms.
Thomas Jefferson could be paraphrased,
"When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns."
That could be considered as a typical "gun nut" view, but it makes perfect sense.
The media often leaves out stories of how responsible gun owners STOP crimes and save lives. Yes, with guns.

I recently found this clipping, "The Missing Gun" in a drawer. Sorry, I don't remember the date it was published, but it was in the months shortly after 9/11/01.
This article from a local New York newspaper says it better than any Constitutional scholar, lawyer or legislator ever could:
