Our forces in Iraq are NOT in control of the country.
They hunker down in stategically placed "Camps" or bases that are heavily fortified like the castles and other strongholds centuries ago during the Crusades.
Our troops leave the safety of their bases to go out on patrols now and then. The majority of Iraq is controlled by "insurgents" who openly walk the streets and countryside of their "Homeland." The insurgents are really the Iraqi Freedom Fighters struggling to free themselves of our invading army.
US troop moral is plummetting, just as it did in Vietnam. Some of our soldiers are probably injuring themselves and claiming to have had an accident to stay in the infirmary instead of on patrol.
Unreported "fragging" incidents are probably happening too, but our government learned a lesson from Vietnam: HIDE THE TRUTH. News reporters do NOT shoot video of combat and deaths of civilians like they did in Vietnam. Every video we see "from Iraq" is either carefully "sanitized" or scripted, choreographed propaganda with actors and actresses creating events that never happened.
Remember the movie, "Wag the Dog?" We are all being wagged, horrendously. The real truth goes "down the memory hole" as in Orwell's novel, "1984."
Why isn't Afghanistan receiving the kind of news coverage that Iraq is getting? Have we forgotten that our troops are fighting there, too?

The locations were released by our military in April of 2005.
Notice how most of the our bases are located on or near the RIVERS and major roadways.
Iraq has a LOT of water. Water is more valuable in the Middle East than oil.
Control the water in a desert region and you control the region.
Israel controls the Golan Heights. The Golan Heights supplies most of the water there.
The US bases in Iraq need fresh water and the Tigris and Euphrates river systems supply it in abundance.
Besides, having a major river at your back makes for an effective rear defense.
The only fairly safe area (for US) is the VERY heavily fortified "Green Zone" in the Baghdad area.
In that ABC report in December '05, Elizabeth Vargas's helicopter ride took place in the Green Zone.
Outside of the Green Zone her helicopter would have likely come under fire.
Even in the Green Zone a occasional rocket or mortar round finds it's way into the US fortress.
The Iraqi Resistance Fighters are harrassing our troops relentlessly.
Our troops are in much greater danger than our government admits.
The Iraqis know how to travel at night, wrap themselves up against infrared satellite and predator drone aircraft detection, dig in and hide in the sand. They are able to withstand the desert heat for extended periods on a minimum of food and water.
They are formidable fighters, determined and tough as nails. Iraq is their home. They were born there and they will gladly die there to ensure that their children will live in a country free of foreign invaders.
If they were as ignorant, stupid and inept as we are led to believe they would not be killing and wounding our troops, shooting down our helicopters or destroying our convoys.
We were lied to during the "cakewalk" invasion. They showed us fake video of Iraqis welcoming us as Liberators and demoralized Iraqi troops surrendering and being defeated in droves.
Our militay BOMBED Iraq, destroyed their infrastructure, rendered their currency worthless and wiped out people's life savings.
Iraqis lost their livelihoods, their homes - they lost everything.
Thousands of Iraqis are still homeless refugees in their own country.
Thousands are sick and dying from disease epidemics because of dirty water. Water treatment plants anbd sewage systems are still not working.
We are not liberators, nor are we welcome in Iraq.
Iraq is a disaster area worse than Louisiana following Hurricane Katrina.
We don't see the truth on national TV news or read about it in our newspapers because if we did we would openly revolt against our corrupt government that's committing such widespread evil and murder of innocents on orders from the international bankers (Rothschild) and industrialists who control our money and the very government that is sworn to serve US.
We are lulled into a false sense of contentment. We are deluded into believing that our government is the World's Policeman and Defender of Freedom.
Most of us have no idea of how much suffering and death our government causes to the world or how they bully and rob Third World countries of their resources.
Our government is the largest exporter of terror, murder and misery the world has ever known, yet most of us are convinced that the opposite is true.
Most Americans who read this think that I'm an Anti-American lunatic - because I'm speaking the TRUTH.
Americans are so thoroughly brainwashed by our media that they would refuse to believe the truth even if they were suddenly dropped into the center of the hell on earth that our government has created in Iraq.
I hope to God that the TRUTH is made known as soon as possible for our own sake as well as that of the many peoples of the world who are suffering under the tyranny of the evil, greedy men who own our government and teach us lies.
We caused hundreds of thousands of innocent people in Iraq to die from malnutrition and disease; hungry Afghani children were killed or maimed picking up bright yellow cluster bomblets that looked like the bright yellow food packets dropped along with the anti-personnel cluster bombs.
600,000 or more Iraqi children died during the US "Sanctions" (Blockade) following the first Gulf War because hospitals could not get medicines and other supplies.
Starvation claimed many of those victims because our troops were ordered not to allow ANYTHING into or out of Iraq. Not even food.
Thousands of refugees are still dying in Iraq from lack of food, medicine and proper sewage/sanitation. Their infrastructure is still in tatters.
God help our troops. They shouldn't be there and we should never have allowed our government to put them there.
Our troops who went to Afghanistan and Iraq were told that they were serving their country and protecting our freedom.
They were lied to. We were all lied to.
Our troops are being used as "expendable assets" by amoral, evil, greedy and cynical monsters who control our money and run our industries.
Just as in Vietnam, this war is all about bankers and industrialists making more money and increasing their own power.
"Freedom," "Democracy," "The War on Terror" and all the other BS thrown at us has NOTHING to do with this war.
The elections in Iraq are complete fabrications. They never happened; we are at WAR with the people of Iraq and Afghanistan. We are NOT helping them.
Al-Qaeda does not exist. Bin Laden and Zarqawi both died years ago.
We are not in danger from Islamic terrorists.
The Arabs had nothing to do with 9-11.
Our own government brought down the WTC buildings with remote-controlled airplanes and carefully placed demolition explosives.
Why? Who benefitted?
