Added 2-25-06

Below are ABC News videos aired on 1-20-06 and 2-24-06.
Is this an area in the "International Zone" (Formally known as the "Green Zone") in Iraq?
Or is it just a stage, a backdrop, used to make "news" videos?
It's obviously the same place and it's been used numerous times by numerous TV News reporters.
Is it even in Iraq? It could be in California for all we know.
How do we know they don't just tape a bunch of "live reports" one after the other on a single day, then broadcast them over the span of a week or two?

This news video of Heather Nauert was aired on ABC News on January 20, 2006.
It was shot in daylight.

Notice the small, civilian car in the background behind Ms. Nauert.

This ABC News video of reporter David Kerley was aired on February 24, 2006.

Is that the same car behind Mr. Kerley?
The scene was shot at night, so I had to lighten the section of the still shot I took from the video.
He was standing in a different spot, so the car, if that's what it is, can just barely be seen through the razor ribbon.
It's blurry, so if anybody out there has a better computer and/or software than me, I'll gladly Email you the original video and still shots so you might resolve it better.

Is that a headlight reflected in the bright lights used to illuminate the scene?

Listen, whenever I hear about 'violence' or 'al-Qaeda activity' "In and around Baghdad" my B.S. meter starts beeping wildly.
Remember, the area "In and around Baghdad" is INSIDE the Green Zone...oh, excuse me, they call it the "International Zone" now.
It is a large, defacto US military base in central Iraq.
Thousands of US troops are stationed there and constantly patrol.
The International Zone is a walled city. It's a fortress. Fortified and perfectly safe, except for when the Iraqi Resistance Fighters pop an RPG or rocket over the outer walls.

Ever hear about a street thug mugging a little old lady inside a police station squad room full of cops?
"Al-Qaeda violence" inside the Green Zone is just as unlikely.

There ain't no "civil war" brewing there, either.
It's open warfare against the invading US military.

Our Fearless Leaders might be planning to send MORE US troops to Iraq and Afghanistan, possibly even into Iran, or Syria, or Palestine or God only knows where else.
That will stretch our already overburdened economy beyond the breaking point.
They have poured about a TRILLION DOLLARS into this war already.

It looks like the International Bankers (Rothschilds) want to bankrupt our country.
Red China is poised to step in and take our place as the world's major industrial nation.

"The wealth of the Rothschilds is built on the bankruptcy of nations."

Here's another appearance by Heather Nauert in the same place.
They really LOVE that spot.

Notice the old white car in the distance behind her.
Maybe the place is a junkyard?

UPDATE 6-08-06
Nope, it's not a junkyard, it's a checkpoint well within the Green Zone.
The single SAFEST spot in Iraq.
Miguel Marquez reports from the US Media's favorite (safest) spot:
