And it likely contains, or, rather, CONTAINED asbestos in it's own construction. If a building costs too much money to take down AND comply with EPA and other regulations dealing with asbestos and other hazardous materials, maybe it would be cheaper if it just happened to, um, accidentally catch fire. You don't need to remove hazardous materials from a fire-gutted building. The fire removed it already. Couple of firefighters were killed and numerous other people might be facing long-term health problems, but, hey, somebody saved a lot of money. The fire-fighting water system was NICHT GEFUNDEN. No water. Gee, how'd THAT happen...? Thursday, August 16, 2007 Yes, the "Bankers" and their partners in Industry are in the process of crashing our economy. They're going about it differently than they did in 1929; tampering with mortgage and credit rates to make the Stock Market "nervous." The FED and their subsidiaries change Interest and "Mortgage and Credit Industry" conditions AT WILL. WE ARE BEING HOODWINKED - AGAIN. Like a frog in a slowly heated beaker of water, we won't realize what's going on until we're cooking in another depression; our money worthless, our property gobbled up by the FED. We are also in a major recession right now. Don't believe the lies and euphemisms being spouted at us by the media. We are being fleeced RIGHT NOW but most of us don't realize it. The FED is leaving the Interest where it is - for now. Brace yourselves, because they MIGHT spring another crash on us soon. WATCH THE INTEREST RATE. If the FED RAISES it, they're making a depression happen. If they raise the Interest Rate by 10 points or more, they're making another Great Depression. Don't believe their excuses - "The Interest had to be raised because of poor market conditions" -- BULL SHIITE! If the FED raises the Interest Rate significantly, it means they are DELIBERATELY plunging us into another recession or depression to FLEECE us. What is the FED? No, I'm not a "conspiracy fanatic." I CARE about my country and my neighbors, no mater what city or state they live in. NAZI GERMANY was a "Homeland" America is AMERICA, it is not "Derr Faterland" Saturday Morning, August 4, 2007 Needless to say, the economy isn't doing very well, the stock market don't look too good, dropping 500 points or more in a few days, record numbers of foreclosures and loan companies (Bank) closing are their doors. No more new mortgage loans. People are losing their homes. Food prices are still ruinous, driven by the use of corn to produce Ethanol. Farmers and farm corporations like Beatrice are growing record amounts of corn to meet the growing demand for Ethanol. Other crops such as Wheat, Soybeans, Barley, etc. are diminishing. Corn prices doubled, causing tbe price of milk and beef to skyrocket. The few independent dairy farmers who remain are dwindling in number, being forced out of business and gobbled up by Beatrice. Corn-based ethanol is just not economically viable or sustainable, yet the "Energy" (FUEL) companies keep pushing it as the best hope for "Clean Energy." Now the "old news" about Corn and Ethanol is forgotten. Now "a number of factors" are said to be driving up food prices. "It's a complicated situation." No, it's very simple. PAY ATTENTION! It's CORN BASED ETHANOL causing it. The FED is also quietly raising the Interest Rate. It's not being covered on the TV news. Maybe few seconds once or twice a day, then they immediately go to video of "Dippy the Water Skiing Squirrel" or another senseless "color shot." Or more archive video footage is trotted out with new dialog about the "Government of Iraq" or something. Despite the big show being played out on Capitol Hill by our "Representatives", nothing is being done to end the war and bring our troops home. The bankers and war industries that profit from the war pay our "representatives" very handsomely. We are NOT being told the truth about the war, the economy or anything else of major consequence. Old "news" lies are quickly forgotten and left unexamined lest somebody show them for the lies they are, while new and refurbished lies are paraded before us. The "news" is just entertainment to keep us quiet. A pacifier stuck in our faces to keep us from thinking for ourselves. Our short attention spans are Uncle Sam's bread and butter. We Are being played for fools and very likely being set up for another Great Depression. Common people will lose everything while the FED gobbles up what WE lose. Smiling liars, like our [Mis] Representatives in the Congress and Senate, "government spokespeople" and the TV News media whores will continue to string us along with emnpty promises and outright lies about how hard they're trying to make things better for us. The people in government who write our laws and their media lapdogs who bring us their lies live lives of wealth and priviledge. They don't care about US. My take on things is that we really are being set up for another great fleecing; a repeat of the Great Depression. |
