Monday Morning, July 31, 2006 I don't think I need to point out that the weather is HOT. Record breaking heat is hitting us all over the country. Playgrounds are dangerous because the equipment is getting hot enough to burn you. You have to check benches, your steering wheel, your car seat - everything exposed to the Sun - by quickly touching it to see if it's too hot. Ya think we should worry about Global Warming? In the Middle East, more of the same. We are told that hundreds of Lebanese citizens have been killed. It's really THOUSANDS or TENS of thousands. Lebanon's infrastructure is heavily damaged. Thousands more innocent people will die from disease, hunger and lack of medical resources. Their drinking water is unsafe and people will get sick and die. Just like in Iraq. Thursday, July 27, 2006 OK, I'm sick of hearing - and writing - about the carnage in the Middle East. Let's take a little look at racism here in America. Here in New York "Fat Nick" was sent to prison for 15 years for a "hate crime." Some black kids were in a Ginzo Brooklyn neighborhood with the intent to steal a car and look for trouble. If you cruise up the Cugine looking for trouble, you WILL find it. Don't cry about it like a little girl and yell "bias crime." You brought it on yourself, dummy. So if you catch some lowlife thief and smack the crap out of him, don't use no ethnic slurs, 'cause you'll get pinched and some shmuck prosecuter will put you in prison and set the thief free. BUT - on April 1, 2006, a gang of black kids chased a white college student with the intent of beating and robbing him. They shouted, "Get Whitey!" "Get the white boy!" The college kid was struck and killed by a car. The gang of little punks laughed as they watched him die. The bias investigation magically concluded that there was no racism involved. Has our justice system gone NUTS? First off, I think racism is stupid. Anybody who commits a true hate crime is a mental defective and needs to be removed from society. We should prosecute all race related crimes EQUALLY. The Liberal jackass lawyers here in New York have their heads up their place where the sun don't shine. Tuesday, July 25, 2006 This morning's news brought us Condoleezza Rice in the Middle East trying to broker peace between Israel and Lebanon. She's also calling for a "New Middle East." That sounds as Orwellian as "New World Order." 700KB video of this morning's propagand - ahhh, I mean, Official ABC News: Click Here She met with the leaders of Lebanon and Israel and they all agreed there will be no Israeli cease fire until Hezbollah halts its attacks. "There's no sign of that - nearly 20 Hezbollah missiles have rained down on the Israeli city of Haifa this morning." Wait, does Lebanon have small, unguided ROCKETS or do they now have guided MISSILES? Again, Lebanon has NO airforce, no artillery, no battle tanks. But now they have MISSILES instead of ROCKETS. Um, why would Lebanon give Israel the green light to continue to pulverize their cities with airstrikes, artillery and armored vehicles by firing "nearly 20" crummy little rockets at them? That sounds like a pile of manure. So you say, "They're FANATICS! They don't care if Israel destroys their cities." Do you realize how absurd that is? Israel (reportedly) dropped 23 TONS of bombs on a SINGLE TARGET in Lebanon. Even "fanatics" would not be so stupid as to bring more of that on themselves by launching a handful of pitiful little dumb-fire rockets at such a superpower. No, my friends, we're being lied to again. And more people will die because of it. Do you have a son or daughter or other family member in the military? If they are killed or wounded, don't blame Iraq or Afhanistan or any of the other Arab states. Blame the liars in Washington who told us fairy tales about Weapons of Mass Destruction, blame the sociopaths in our own government who engineered the destruction of the World Trade Center and blamed it on the Taliban. Blame the bankers and military contractors who are making tremendous profits from all this needless bloodshed. Wake up and SEE the propaganda on the TV news. See it all for what it is. We're being led like lambs to the slaughter by lying sociopaths. You think our government CARES about us? They wouldn't even SPIT on us. They'd pay some lowlife to do that FOR them. Sunday Morning, July 23, 2006 Lebanon does not have an airforce. They don't have heavy artilery. (Neither does Palestine.) Is Hezbollah REALLY firing rockets into Israel? They tell us Israel dropped 23 TONS of bombs on a single (That's 46 THOUSAND POUNDS of bombs.) Lebanese neighborhood, looking for a Hezbollah bunker. How do we even know THAT'S true? Videos of al-Qaeda, Hezbollah and Hammas "terrorists" bombard us from the TV every day. Bearded, turbin-wearing fanatics spewing messages of hatred and violence raise our ire and fear. It rallies us to support the "Global War on Terror." It's straight out of Orwell's "1984". Are we so damned brainwashed and gullible that we don't see right through this painfully obvious propaganda? Many of the videos are 15, 20 or 30 years old, dubbed, with subcaptions added. Others are simply manufactured. Some of those "terrorists" are long dead. That's right, America, Osama bin Laden DIED five years ago. Do you remember how we were told at the beginning of the invasion of Afghanistan that Osama bin Laden needed KIDNEY DIALYSIS treatments? Dialysis signifies the terminal stages of kidney disease. Now bin Laden is running around in the mountains, menacing us all. The American people don't pay attention or remember what they watched on the TV news or read in the newspaper last week. That's exactly the way they want you to be. Fooling us is easier when we don't remember nuthin' Zarqawi was already dead for three years when he was again killed by two 500-pound bombs dropped from US war planes. The "Global War on Terror" is a lie. Why would organizations of "Radical Moslems" set out to "destroy everything" and turn the world against them? "They hate everything we stand for." "They hate freedom." The whole premise is the most simple-minded, stupid assembly of propaganda ever foisted on us. What benefit is there to a group of terrorists to kill their fellow countrymen, to blow themselves up in public places and to bring the wrath of every civilized human being everywhere down upon them? Where is the benefit? Where is the profit? Where is the SUSTAINABILITY? What is the REASON? Sorry, but, "They hate freedom" is the dumbest possible explanation. Our own government crashed remote-controlled airplanes into the WTC. The only "hijacking" was by Global Hawk GPS remote control technology. THREE steel and concrete skyscrapers were brought down on 9-11 by carfully placed demolition explosives, NOT by fire. We actually believe that THREE major skyscrapers collapsed to dust on the same day because of two airplane crashes? WTC7 wasn't hit by an airplane, but it too collapsed to dust. WTC7, by the way, held evidence of massive fraud (theft) by the SEC, or Securities Exchange Commission. There were no back-ups of any of the data - it was ALL in WTC7. They were about to be investigated. Good thing them crazy Arabs came along and destroyed all the records, eh? The Taliban (Mujahideen) were blamed because they refused to allow a gas and oil pipeline through their country from the Caspian Sea. Who benefits from "terrorism?". What is the purpose of "Global Terror?" Follow the money and you'll find the real criminals behind it. Look at the Video Vault for movies and mainstream news that bring it into focus. Arab Socialism is also a major reason for this bloodshed. Arab Socialism is to banking and Capitalism in general what water is to fire. These are (1) the destabilization of and removal of sovereignty from Western nation states, (2) the establishment of an essentially fascist world government under the direct control of the capitalist elite, (3) the greatly accelerated exploitation and suppression of the third-world, and (4) the gradual downgrading of Western living conditions toward third-world standards. By these means, elites hope to achieve yet another round of capital growth. Friday, July 21, 2006 More of the same in the Middle East. We keep hearing about Hezbollah rocket attacks but never about Hezbollah ARTILLERY or WARPLANES. Why not? Maybe Palestine is so dirt poor they don't HAVE very much in the way of advanced, expensive weaponry. A Hezbollah rocket was said to have hit Jerusalem, killing two little Arab boys. [My mistake, it was Nazareth.] BOOO! Hezbollah villians! Now it's ok. They're bloodthirsty. KILL THEM ALL! Israel hit some nightclubs in a Christian area - but that was a mistake. Then again, how are we to know WHAT did or didn't happen? If it ain't on TV, it never happened, whether it really happened or not. Mass exodus of Americans and others from Lebanon. Hey, when 500 pound bombs are falling like rain its a good idea to leave. They still tell us the civilian casualties in Lebanon are in the hundreds. I still say its in the thousands. Israel bombed heavily populated areas. Even though people are evacuating, many were caught by surprise when the onslaught started. Eventually we may find out just how many Lebanese civilians were killed. In the meantime both Israel and American forces continue to kill innocent men, women and children in Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq and Afghanistan while self-righteously lying about fighting "terrorism." We also see ugly faces of ugly al-Qaeda, Hammas and Hezbollah terrorists saying ugly things that justify our ugly murder of innocent people. Who the hell ARE these "terrorist" faces that magically pop up on the TV screen to anger us and justify the continuing slaughter? Could it all just be propaganda? Please, read George Orwell's novel, "1984." Life is imitating art. Here in the Tri State New York area we're expecting thunder storms today, tomorrow and possibly Sunday. I hope my fellow New Yorkers keep their cell phones and video cams handy. I'm getting sick of hearing the National Weather Service saying, "It wasn't a tornado." Wednesday, July 7, 2006 President Bush is expected to veto a Senate Bill that expands government funding (and sanctioning) of stem cell research. A five day old fertilized human ovum IS human life with one big difference; it has no MIND yet. (Sort of like certain politicians...) A five day old fertilized egg is just a sphere of undifferentiated stem cells. If I remember my biology, I think it's called a Blastula. It's human life, but it's NOT a human being yet. It's a seed, a collection of building blocks waiting to start turning into a person. It has no eyes, face or brain. Its just a precurser to a human being. Thousands of fertilized human ovum are destroyed every year. By George Bush's Standards, isn't that "murder?" Why WASTE "Human Life" if it can SAVE the lives of living human beings? When blood transfusions and organ transplants first came about many people objected to doctors "playing God" and showing lack of regard for "human life." I would like to see people get up and walk away from their wheelchairs. I would also like to see Michael J. Fox make another "Back to the Future" movie and live to a healthy old age. That would all be possible if religious fanatics like our president would stop mucking up the progress of Stem Cell research. Christopher Reeve could still be alive today if Stem Cell research was unrestricted ten years ago. If President Bush or his daughter suffered a paralyzing spinal injury I wonder if he would change his mind about Stem Cells. I think you'd be able to time his 'change of heart' with a stop watch! Here in the New York Tri State area we have a mess after last night's thunder storms. SCATTERED incidents of downed trees and other damage - don't tornados touch down randomly and do "random damage?" I wish the National Weather Service would just admit that the Tri State is getting hit by (small) tornados on a regular basis. They don't move until twenty eyewitnesses, including State Troopers and people with home videos of funnel clouds force them to confirm a tornado. Global Warming is causing unusually severe weather RIGHT NOW. If a giant water spout tornado formed in New York harbor and smacked into the Verazanno Bridge the National Weather Service would STILL procrastinate before admitting it was a tornado. The "Hezbollah militants" further brought on the destruction of Lebanon by launching 850 rockets INTO POPULATION CENTERS in Israel. How much of that is true? Did the Lebanese really kidnap anybody? If they did, does that justify destroying the ENTIRE COUNTRY and killing thousands of innocent people? The civilian death toll in Lebanon is NOT in the hundreds. It's in the THOUSANDS. Same thing in Palestine. Israel hammered Gaza and "arrested" members of the democratically elected Palestinian Parliament. Lump all the victims together, call them "bad guys" then kill them all. After all, the "bad guys" deserve it. Charlie Gibson of ABC News was flying in a helicopter with an Israeli general who said of Lebanon, "They take the entire...city hostage. I just noticed that there is MOVING TRAFFIC in the video of the "empty city." Maybe it was very early in the morning? They don't like it when the viewing audience pays attention... Israel is targeting Lebanese civilians, population centers and whatever else they feel like. A very loaded statement from ABC News spoke of Israel targeting trucks using the "pretext" that they might be carrying rockets. Maybe somebody got disgusted enough to slip that into the teleprompter. THIS truck was carrying medical supplies: Video (578KB) 12 civilians from two families were killed when an Israeli jet blew up their minivan with a missile. They seem to be small, unguided rockets; mere fireworks compared to the 500 pound bombs and artillery dropped by Israel night and day. Its very suspicious that the rockets are doing minimal damage while ensuring maximum PR. Remember the "Weapons of Mass Destruction" that got us to go along with the invasion of Iraq? Remember Jessica Lynch? It turns out she was NOT kidnapped, beaten or raped by the "brutal Iraqis." Iraqi soldiers pulled her from her wrecked truck and rushed her to an Iraqi hospital where Iraqi doctors set her broken bones with steel pins and gave her blood transfusions. They saved her life. The military brass "reminded" her about the beatings and rape. Examine the evidence of the World Trade Center attack on 9-11. That started all our paranoia and fear about "terrorists." Saturday, July 15, 2006 The UN voted down a resolution against Israel for their aggression against neighboring countries, Lebanon in particular. No surprise there. Israel gets preferential treatment. Now they have a blank check to destroy any country weaker than themselves. If you think Ariel Sharon was bad, you ain't seen NOTHING yet. Israel thumbed their noses at UN weapons inspectors decades ago as they built an arsenal of biochemical and NUCLEAR weapons, and MISSILES TO LAUNCH THEM. If they want to, Israel can nuke ANY target in the Middle East. Since no UN inspector has ever gotten a peek at their arsenal, we don't know if they might have INTERCONTENENTAL missiles, too. Shut up with that "anti-Semitism" crap. Israel is a violent, aggressive bully beating up on dirt-poor Third World neighbors who don't have anything near their military might. Thursday, July 13, 2006 From my Daily Rants Monday, June 26, 2006 "One or several of the five boroughs of New York as well as New Jersey WILL be hit by tornados perhaps as soon as this year. There will be documented F1 and stronger tornados. It's pretty hard to cover up a tornado when 20 people capture videos of it as it rips up houses and trees in Staten Island." Well, somebody DID just that. (Not on Staten Island, though. Yet.) The National Weather Service has indeed confirmed that a F2 tornado hit the Westchester area yesterday. News Video(2.08MB) There were many more, smaller tornados as well that went "unreported" and "unconfirmed" over many other parts of the Tri State A tornado can touch down very briefly then just vanish. Smaller "F0" tornados are usually passed off as "high winds." And that's what happened yesterday all across the Tri State New York area. Just look at all the damaged homes, downed power lines and trees that were snapped apart like toothpicks. Large areas of New York and Connecticut are a mess. I'm sorry to sound like the Prophet of Doom, but this is just the beginning. Our use of Oil, coal and gasoline has upset the balance of our Global climate. The Polar Ice Caps are melting at an accelerating rate. Gigantic ice shelves have already crumbled into the ocean, lowering the ocean's salinity. That changes the overall temperature patterns of our planet. There are numerous very large chunks of the Polar Ice that could crack and fall into the sea anytime. That would cause tidal waves, coastal flooding and on top of that, make our weather even more violent and erratic. The cycle of environmental disaster we have set in motion will continue to progress until F4 and F5 tornados, hurricanes, severe hail, deadly thunder storms and God only knows what else will become common occurances. A lot of our land masses will be under water, too. We do NOT have 100, or 50 years before all this happens. Thursday morning, July 13, 2006 ANOTHER tornado in the Tri-State New York area. Of course the National Weather Service is being wishy-washy about admitting it, but this time there were too many eyewitnesses. Click for News Video (590KB) It also destroyed a building and lifted a State Trooper AND HIS CAR. Miraculously he wasn't hurt, just taken for a wild ride. How can you deny that? Lebanon is taking a pounding, Syria and Iran might be provoked to go to war. All of this pales in significance against the effects of Global Warming that are causing FORCE 2 TORNADOS IN NEW YORK! The world is in serious trouble and it ain't from war. Or terrorism. There will be much more wild, violent weather all over the world and more tornados in new York and other places that do not traditionally GET tornados. The Global weather patterns are going beserk because WE won't stop burning oil, coal and gasoline. We have to STOP the damage to our environment before the Human Race becomes extinct. If we stop burning fossil fuels RIGHT NOW, if we stop polluting our oceans and killing the plankton RIGHT NOW, we MIGHT be able to 'weather' the cycle of erratic climate changes we have already set in motion. We cannot avoid the catastrophes that are already beginning and that will gradually, then suddenly, worsen but we CAN at least lessen the severity of it by STOPPING our assault on our own planet. RIGHT NOW. STOP BURNING OIL, COAL and GASOLINE OR WE ALL DIE. Is that clear enough? Using Compact Fluorescent lightbulbs just won't do it. Would the sight and terrifying roar of a tornado ripping across your neighborhood get your attention? Wednesday morning, July 12, 2006 A rampage of bombings ripped through trains yesterday in Bombay, India, claiming well over 100 lives and many more wounded. The media tells us it might not have been al-Qaeda, but rather, another group that shares the same sentiments. WHO DID IT? Al-Qaeda is being pushed into the sidelines, minimized, just another "minor player" on the terrorist scene. Al-Qaeda is being retired as the main bogeyman and being replaced by a many-headed Hydra monster that can never be routed out. Wrestling with an octopus who's tentacles grow back as fast as you chop them off. Do you see the trend developing here? Destroying al-Qaeda will no longer hurt "The Terrorists." Suddenly we have "at least 14 terrorist groups" and al-Qaeda only accounts for 5% of the total terrorism. So who blew up the Trains in India? Why? The only thing that accomplishes is to rally the world against the terrorists. Or at least the people we are TOLD are the terrorists. Osama bin Laden was not a stupid man. He knew that you don't gain world support by killing innocent people. Being a deeply religious man, bin Laden would not have violated the Koran's strict ban on killing innocent non-combatants. Argue all you like, but that's a fact, Jack. Bin Laden was educated and a member of the Saudi Royal Family. He led the Mujahideen in a "Jihad" (struggle) against the Soviet Union. The US-backed and trained Mujahideen repelled the Soviet military from Afghanistan. We are gradually being conditioned to accept surveillance and searches and the loss of our Liberty and Civil Rights. The Iraqi people had the right to keep and bear arms - AUTOMATIC RIFLES - and Saddam and his "henmchmen" were very much outnumbered by armed citizens. They're now fightiong a guerilla war against our troops. They are outgunned by our superior forces, yet they fight. Why were they afraid to stand up against the Big Bully, Saddam? Are our troops really fighting, dying and coming home with brain injuries to "keep US free?" If we READ, PAY ATTENTION and LEARN then we might all begin to realize that we're being played for fools. And our young men and women in "our" military are being used as expendable assets so the bankers and corporations can get wealthier and more powerful. Knowledge is Freedom. Monday, July 10, 2006 Assem Hammoud is the Lebanese "mastermind" behind the "foiled plot" to blow up a NYC PATH train and breach the tunnel under the Hudson River. OK, the plan was for 15 to 20 suicide bombers to detonate in the same train car simultaneously. Yesterday I ranted that it was 5. STILL, that would NOT be enough to rupture the PATH train tunnel. If he was a professor of Physics he might have known that... It has "been revealed" that he also plotted to set wildfires in California "to cause economic havoc."  Click for Video (1.25MB) He (was) a professor (of economics?) in Lebanon. Lebanese police found maps and bombing plans on his university computer. ABC News reports that "Intelligence sources are downplaying the threat." With good reason - Hammoud could never accomplish or even begin to accomplish this plot. So, how was this jackass going to motivate 15 to 20 people to blow themselves into "pink mist" in a subway car? How was he going to find the RESOURCES to pull all of this off? Travel expenses, Visas, acquiring explosives and other supplies, not to mention running around in the California desert setting fires. Oh, yeah, the 20 or so suicide volunteers would be a major hurdle, too. I'm sure the Police, FBI, Homeland Gestapo - I mean, Security - wouldn't notice anything, either. Let's play "Hammoud's advocate" for a moment. If he was any plotting anything at all, was he SERIOUS about it? Was it even a real "plot?" Maybe it was just a hypothetical exercise meant to be left on his computer or explored in the classroom? Maybe it was meant as a project for his students to analyze the difficulties and impossibilities that such a plot would present? I have maps on my computer; travel directions from Google, Yahoo, Mapquest, etc. I don't have any "bombing plans," but even if I did, would that prove that I actually had the intention or ability to do it? I could plan to travel to Australia to implant computer chip guidance systems in kangaroos' brains, stuff their pouches with atomic bombs and send them hopping around blowing up government buildings, buses and fast food restaurants. How credible would such a "plot" be? Would I be splashed all over the news as "The Kangaroo Bomber?" Just TALKING about terror scenarios or chatting on the Internet sends cops into the subways with shotguns and machine guns and gets the idle chatters arrested! Where does common sense end and a "credible plot" begin? Saturday, July 8, 2006 They're again telling us stories about "Foiled Al-Qaeda Terror Plots." Al-Qaeda is now linked to the London bombings that killed 52 people. Bin Laden's second in command, Zarhawari, released a video praising one of the terrorists. Very convenient how al-Qaeda keeps giving us proof of their evil-doing to bolster public support for the "War on Terror." (WOT?) This latest plot was uncovered JUST IN TIME because the conspirators were blabbing about it openly on some "Jihadist" or "al-Qaeda" chatroom or some such nonsense. Probably idle boasting by clowns who never even SAW the Middle East. The chatroom was probably run by Fallujah Brothers International (FBI). The FBI keeps entrapping dumbells and misfits who know nothing about explosives or the true meaning of the Koran. The Koran FORBIDS the killing of innocents. Devote Moslems do NOT blow up innocent people. They get them talking until they can prove "intent" - which does not mean ABILITY - to commit acts of terror. Then they "build" a case - with a shovel and a pile of manure. The next "Plot" they uncover JUST IN TIME - It's always "Just in time" it seems; great way to heighten our fear (Terror, that is) - will not be discovered in chatrooms. They'll have to think up something else. Maybe someone will "forget" to encrypt an Email. Or sumthin'. (BTW, Osama bin-Laden DIED FIVE YEARS AGO.) I'm sorry, but seeing police in helmets and heavy body armor toting shotguns (and automatic weapons) and looking like storm troopers does not make me feel safe. Can you say, "Ricochet?" Anybody with any sense of self peservation would be fearful when challenged by three, four or five paramilitary police with enough armor and firepower to fight in Iraq. Al-Qaeda terrorists planned to blow up the Holland Tunnel and flood lower Manhattan. Trouble is, the area is TEN FEET ABOVE sea level. Duh But wait, there's more - NOW the FBI tells us that the plot was for five suicide bombers to blow themselves up in the same car of a PATH train, preferably while it was deep under the Hudson River. The idea was to try and breach the tunnel and let the river flood it. Trouble with THAT scenario is that five backpacks simply can NOT carry enough explosives to breach a tunnel. Even a truck bomb in the Holland Tunnel cannot blow the walls of the tunnel open. There's too much outside water pressure holding it back and the force of the blast would still take the path of least resistance anyway, toward the open ends of the tunnel. Bridges are virtually impossible to even damage significantly with a vehicle-delivered bomb because the force of the blast will travel toward the path of least resistance. The major path of resistance is staight down. Least resitance is a dome; up, left, right, forward and back. On a two level bridge like New York's Verrazano Bridge, there are two paths of resistance but lots of open horizontal space for the blast to disperse. A powerful missile would do the job, but it's doubtful that would happen. Ever read George Orwell's novel, "1984"? In the book, the 'futuristic' government of Oceania maintains control of the population by occasionally launching a missile into it's own cities to keep the people in fear and anger toward "The Enemy." Now he stands for "Truth, Justice and all that stuff." That's actually a line from the movie. When Superman returns from Krypton, the head honcho at the "Daily Rag" asks, "Does he still stand for Truth, Justice and all that stuff?" Why? "The American Way" offends the Foreign Market$ Many people don't like America (often with good reason, I must admit) but they like Superman. Hollywood sold us out. Confiscate any flags they might have and give them fake dollar bills on ice cream sticks. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY! Superman was a propaganda "cheerleader" born in Depression era America. An artificially created American icon to give the common man some hope and pride. But it was STILL an American icon. Not anymore. I cannot recommend that anyone commit the heinous crime of "Intellectual Property Infingement." God forbid! (They want to take God off of our money, too) You can spend seven years in prison if you get caught in a movie theater making a bootleg DVD with a hidden video recorder. But if some punk mugs an old lady he can plea bargain and get out on "time served." Is it Patriotic to break an unjust law? Our Founding Fathers were hanged as traitors and criminals when caught by the British. I WOULD tell my fellow Americans to go buy a $7.00 bootleg Superman DVD instead of giving their money to traitors in Hollywood, but that would be illegal. Just like revolting against England in 1776. Hollywood betrayed and murdered Superman. Just to turn a buck. That said, I wish you all a HAPPY 4th OF JULY! On July 4th we celebrate Patriotism. What is Patriotism? "Support the Troops" OK. How? Bring them home so they don't get killed? Drop them on the battlefield by the thousands so many of them DO get killed or worse? Is it Patriotic to get your legs blown off in a country thousands of miles away so the bankers and oil companies can get richer and more powerful? Are our soldiers fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan to defend our freedom? I didn't see any Iraqi fanatics landing on our shores or parachuting into my backyard. Our soldiers are indoctrinated and brainwashed into the "Borg Collective" of military non-thinking. Their mindsets are stamped out in cookie-cutter fashion: "We're serving our country." "we're defending Freedom." "We're fighting Terror." "You ain't PAID to THINK, son. Now grab your gear and FALL IN!" About 20,000 people from various countries have become American citizens so far byserving in the US military. Are THEY Patriotic? Maybe. They do FIGHT the "enemy", but do any of our soldiers really PROTECT our country by travelling halfway around the world to attack Third World countries? If they're born in some backwater manana village with no hope for building a life for themselves and their families, then serving in the Infantry is a worthwhile gamble. If he (or she) survives military service, they will have a place in America with GI benefits and opportunity that they would never have had otherwise. For 20,000 new American citizens who earned their place in our country by wearing a uniform and putting their lives on the line fighting people they never even knew existed. July 4th has special meaning for these new citizens. Patriotism is standing for "Truth, Justice 'and all that stuff'" no matter WHO you piss off or no matter how many misinformed and misled individuals accuse YOU of being a "traitor" for not supporting the war/troops/Mickey Mouse/whatever. Patriotism is fighting for the rights and well-being of your own Countrymen in your own country. Supporting the unprovoked invasion of a sovereign nation because the bankers don't like the socio-economic ramifications of Arab Socialism is not born of Patriotism. Not to mention that the bankers and their oil companies want to control all that "Black Gold." It's just a bunch of misinformed people responding to BS and propaganda drilled into their heads by the TV news. Patriotism is defending our country fom ALL enemies, both foreign and domestic. OUR OWN GOVERNMENT is a domestic enemy of our Constitution. In 1913 they turned our currency system over to PRIVATE BANKERS with the "Federal Reserve Act." They lie to us and get our young people killed in wars. Saddam Hussein did not have Weapons of Mass Destruction, yet our government lied to us about it.
