Monday Night, October 30, 2006 I just retired my old computer and I'm still setting up the shiny new one. Internet problems, too. The nVidea networking chip on my motherboard is fighting with my router and my cable modem doesn't like either one, so please bear with me as I struggle to get all my ducks in a row. My new Media Center TV tuner crapped out too, so I swapped it out for my old $40.00 Taiwanese tuner that still works just fine. It figures. I'm still reeling from the complete turn-around of Americans' opinion of the war. Actually I knew three years ago that it would happen. I remember how people in the Newsgroups called me a "traitor' and many more spicy names. I remember how Michael Moore got booed at the Oscars when he said, "Shame on you, Mr. Bush." 100+ of our soldiers were killed in Iraq this month. Americans love getting into wars. Well, we love the IDEA of war, of America kicking ass and taking names. -- Until the coffins start coming home. And thousands of kids come home minus a limb or two. Then there's head trauma. Body armor protects the chest cavity and field medicine has advanced to the point where our soldiers are surviving wounds that would have surely killed them if they had been in Vietnam in the 1960's. Body armor protects the chest cavity from penetration but spinal cords can still be broken and the concussive shockwaves from high explosives regularly inflict severe brain damage on our troops. We don't see them. They don't show the true human toll of war on TV. A 24 year-old kid who doesn't know his own parents, his wife or his child. - A not-too-long ago 24 year old who had his whole life ahead of him who now can't even tie his own shoes. Lets look at the toll on innocent Iraqi people. We certainly are NOT shown the reality of their suffering. "F**K THEM" you say? Aren't they people too? How would YOU feel if America was a Third World country and some foreign Superpower came and shattered your life? To take your country's oil and to discourage Socialism and the loss of colonial revenue it brings. Hundreds of thousands of Iraqi citizens suddenly became refugees in their own country. Their economy smashed, their money worthless because the government that issued it was overturned by bombs and missiles. People collapsing in the streets and dying from disease and hunger. Epidemics caused by unsafe drinking water because the water purification plants and sewage systems were destroyed along with the rest of the infrastructure. Then there are the American soldiers who come home "safe and sound" who have SEEN all this horror. Bloated, stinking corpses so thick with swarms of ravenous flies you can't go near them unless you want to get bitten a thousand times and catch half a dozen diseases and infections. The bottom half of an American soldier still sitting against a wall with a half-eaten MRE in his lap. Chunks of what might be the rest of his (or her?) body scattered on the other side of the street. Nobody comes home from a war unwounded. We have a major war every 20 years or so. Eisenhower himself said America's economy depends on war. War and oil are the twin towers of our economy. I'm not sure which one is more important. War is never about right or wrong. It's about money. Our Patriotism is used as a carrot on a stick to fool us into wars. Again and again. "MOVE TO FRANCE, DIXIE CHICKS!" "Damn tramps should be hanged for treason!" A few years and a few thousand American coffins tends to snap us out of our Patriotic fervor. Thursday Morning, October 26, 2006 The Dixie Chicks years ago spoke out against the Iraq war when it was not POLITICALLY SAFE to do so - yet. The got death threats and boos and hate mail. Thanks to their sure-to-be-a-hit new movie, I got an archival clip off the TV of President Bush telling us exactly what the 'reason' for the war was:  Click for 724KB Video Clip I remember when I spoke out against the war even BEFORE the invasion, when we were still being led by a carrot on a stick with BS about "diplomacy" and possible military action. I knew there would be an invasion and I never bought into the false hope for a "diplomatic solution." I was soundly insulted and ridiculed, too. I even got a couple of death threats. The Dixie Chicks got a Platinum album a big money-making movie. Go figure. At least I got some vindication and credibility from it. I would have preferred no war and no thousands of dead Americans and dead Iraqi civilians. I asked questions in the newsgroups like, How many dead American soldiers will it take to change your mind about the war? I even ranted and raved - long before the invasion - that there were no Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq, that it was all just a Mass Deception. The most alarming part of it is how EASILY the American people can be fooled and manipulated by our government and the TV news. Now most Americans are against the war. A complete 180 degree turn-around. And no, I do NOT believe it was just "faulty intelligence." They LIED to us about the WMD. Our own government are the "Traitors," not the Dixie Chicks, nor myself, nor Michael Moore - remember how he was booed at the Oscars for saying, "Shame on you Mister Bush"? Back then anybody who spoke against the president or the war was denounced as a traitor or worse. Anybody remember how fanatical the majority of the people were? Wednesday, October 25, 2006 Another Bush press conference this morning. Don't you just love the language of rhetoric? Politicians can speak for an hour and not really say anything. We're fighting extremists and other bad guys who want to prevent democracy in Iraq. We need to pressure Saudi Arabia to convince the "insurgents" to lay down their arms. We need to "help" Iraq until they can run their own country. We will not stand in the crossfire between rival factions. "Rival factions" and "Sectarian violence" are just more magician's tricks of misdirection and distraction. The IRAQI PEOPLE are fighting OUR TROOPS to take back their country. We INVADED Iraq. We won't leave "until the job is done." Sounds more like Vietnam every day. You KNOW they'll escallate the war and send in more troops. Unfortunately the "job" is being done on US. We are being lied to about just about every aspect of the Middle East Oil Crusade. Like the cost - $300Billion. WRONG Its more than a TRILLION dollars so far. This is public record. Congress passed another appropriations bill to pour $453 BILLION MORE into the war(s) in Iraq and Afghanistan. ----------------------------------------------------- Earlier, at the beginning of the war, Congress appropriateed over $300Billion. So far that's over $700Billion. Add on all the other incremental nickel and diming appropriations and we're talking about well over a $Trillion. As for Senator Obama - look, he's young, inexperienced and black. (His mother is a white Mid-Westerner, his father from Africa.) Lets be realistic. Hillary as the first lady president would be be difficult enough for the American public. In this day and age, a young black president is still highly unlikely. Friday, October 20, 2006 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and many manufacturers are promising to donate a portion of their profits toward cancer research. The cure for cancer was already found. In 1930. Don't believe it? We would know about it, you say? It's a cynical scam to tug our heart strings in order to grab our purse strings. Soup, yogurt, breath mint and other companies are in business to make money. The hole in the Ozone over Antarctica is larger than scientists expected it to be. What? The Ozone Layer blocks deadly Ultraviolet light from reaching us. Without the Ozone Layer, life cannot exist on the surface of our Earth. These guys ain't sticking their heads in the sand. They got them stuck somewwhere else... Hey, guess what? OPEC is raising the price of oil, which will translate to higher gas and home heating oil prices this Winter. Riiight - blame OPEC. Do you think the oil companies might be lying - again? Read my Rant from Thursday Night, September 21, 2006: "Oh, yeah, now that the Winter Blend of gasoline is hitting the market, expect the price per gallon to rise again. They only lowered the price to unload all the Summer Blend gas they had left. Pure greed." **************************************************************************** The Stock Market went even higher and is starting to drop. My advice to small (DOW) investors is simple. GET OUT. The few powerful men at the top are going to crash the market sooner or later. Like I wrote yesterday, the major players in the Market make hugh profits when they deliberately crash the Stock Market. Wealth is never lost, just transferred. Thursday, October 19, 2006 In 1995 PBS aired a special that explains our money system with shocking honesty. The Federal Reserve is a PRIVATE BANK. Our government does not issue our currency anymore.  CLICK HERE The Stock Market closed at a record high today. That is, the DOW Industrials, a group of 30 top core corporations. Others are not doing as well. Rich people are getting richer and setting all the small investors up for a fall. The market will probably suffer a "correction" or even a crash. Whenever the market reaches record highs, falls usually soon follow. What does this Stock Market boom mean for YOU? Is your paycheck buying more? Can you afford to send your kids to Ivy League colleges? Does your medical insurance provide you with better care? No? Well, then, this Stock Market crap is just a rich man's shell game. The Market will crash. It will probably stay high for a while to draw in more suckers for fleecing. The top investors know when to pull out, because they MAKE the Market crash. Like I said, it's all just a rich man's shell game. Money is lost by many and gained by a few in a crash. Note that I do NOT make a single dime from running this Website. I do it because I love my country (not necessarily our leaders) and I want people to understand how our country works. Just understanding how corrupt and fraudulent our monetary system has become can help make a difference, especially if EVERYBODY finds out. Make sure you tell others about it and let them know, too. Why would an iron-fisted Kim ALLOW US reporters to even SEE farm peasants living in Medieval conditions? Wait a minute - THEY WERN'T EVEN THERE YET! There's something very strange going on here. Does ABC News have a time machine? Let's ask ABC News how their news crews can shoot videos of places where they won't be until the next day. Wednesday Morning, October 18, 2006 North Korea. More horse manure brought to us "by our sponsors." The footage below is years old (and shown to us again and again), yet this particular conventional missile drove past as ABC News told us about Korea now "wielding Weapons of Mass Destruction." "the terrifying game of chicken played with nuclear weapons" is a good one, too. N. Korea (allegedly) just did an underground nuke test, which we are told was most likely a failure. It takes YEARS between the first initial testing and a finished nuclear warhead. Aired on ABC October 16, 2006  Click Here for 1.30MB News Video Its a "Phantom Menace." We see video of fanatical marching soldiers and menacing parades of trucks with missiles. We see these images over and over again. Next we'll see images of destitute peasants living in Medieval squalor, while Kim-Il lives in opulence. Over and over. We've also seen brief footage of North Korea's downtrodden people. Trouble is, we saw this footage BEFORE ABC's Dianne Sawyer WENT to N. Korea. She was speaking to us from Beijing, China. Duh. Am I the only one who picked up on that one? Korea is another boogeyman. After all, EVERY country that the US is against is Evil and run by madmen. We're the Good Guys and we only fight Bad Guys. It really is that simple-minded, yet most of us fall for it. If its on TV, its 'true'. President Bush is talking tough and "putting pressure" on China to enforce the "sanctions" on North Korea. Red China is a superpower. They have US outnumbered more than three to one. "Putting pressure" on them? How? Buffalo New York is a Federal Disaster Area from record breaking snow in EARLY OCTOBER. Global Warming. Anybody paying attention out there? Big Oil, Mr. President, Congress? Did anybody hear this latest warning our planet gave us? When are we going to stop burning fuel and using fire as our source of energy? "Nearly 70" of our troops died in Iraq so far this month. 11 of them died within the past 24 hours. Uncle Sam is lying about the numbers of killed and wounded; under reporting American numbers while grossly inflating the enemy body count. If all the Iraqi enemy reported as dead really died so far, then why are there any still left to fight our troops? During the Vietnam war the government and military lied outright about the numbers until they got found out. Now they use a computer system to miscount. When wounded US soldiers are brought in to field stations, their dogtags are scanned by hand held computer units. If they have a pulse, they are entered into the system as "wounded." If they die 20 seconds after the medic (or Corpsman) walks away, their status is NOT updated. That's right, "Wounded" soldiers are coming home in coffins. Others are coming home with brain damage so severe they might as well be dead. How many American families are deciding right now to "pull the plug" on their children who came home "wounded" last month? There seem to be a LOT of enemy soldiers shooting at our troops in Iraq. Where are all these enemy fighters coming from? They are NOT small rag-tag motley groups of "terrorists" and "extremists." Our troops are fighting what remains of the Iraqi Army along with volunteers and other militia. These people are soldiers fighting to take back their country from invaders. They are more organized than have been told. We are fighting against the COUNTRY of Iraq. We are not fighting terrorists and other small groups of lunatics. Is oil important enough to sacrifice your children to this disgusting war? Oh, yeah, our media also tells us that we will "defend Japan" and our other allies in the region against aggresion by North Korea How? Even if North Korea tips a missile with a working nuke within the next decade and vaporizes one of our "allies in the region" the only "defending" would be a retaliatory nuclear strike. Red China would not be happy about "Black Rain" and other nuclear fallout. Our "allies in the region" would also not appreciate our 'protection' when the fallout hits them as well. Radiation sickness tends to be counter productive to diplomacy. Will we invade North Korea? (Or try to?) Will we invade Iran to stop the "nuclear menace" there? Isn't it a violation of International Law to drop cluster bombs on population centers? Children can't even play in the fields for fear of getting blown up and farmers are in constant danger of setting one off. Also supplied by US? Why isn't Israel being "sanctioned" by the UN for having WMD? Years ago Israel thumbed their noses at UN inspectors as they built a stockpile of nukes, chemical weapons and the missiles that can deliver the deadly payloads anywhere in the Middle East. Israel is really a defacto State of the United States. Just as their nuclear status is not "openly acknowledged," so, too, their relationship with US is ignored. We're being told conflicting stories about "sectarian violence," "civil war," "insurgents," "terrorists" and sometimes even "Iraqi Resistance [Fighters]." All this talk about Iraq's responsibility to "fight for itself" is eerily reminiscent of the Vietnam era and the "Vietnamization of Vietnam." Our military was sent to bomb, destroy and invade Iraq. (And 'Secure' the oil fields.) There ain't no civil war or "failure" by the Iraqi military to keep the peace. The Iraqi (and Afghani) people are fighting against invaders (US). That's the real story. And just as during the Vietnam War, we are not being told the truth about the real numbers of dead and wounded. (Or so we're told) TV news showed us footage of evil, goose-stepping Korean soldiers menacing us from the other side of the world. North Korea is part of the "Axis of Evil." I honesty doubt that our government will attack North Korea. They have a well equipped military and and even if our troops prevail they will still get chewed up and spat out. Besides, if they pop a nuke or two over Los Angeles I think a few Americans will ask our leaders what the f***k they were thinking by attacking and provoking a nuclear power. Launching nukes back at the Koreans would make Red China very upset, too. That little thing called radioactive fallout... If we DO attack North Korea, that means they DON'T HAVE nukes to hit us where we live. Why do you think Hugo Chavez is building up Venezuela's military? If 20,000 Venezuelan soldiers die they will take 5000+ American soldiers with them. The more costly an attack on our Southern neighbors or any other country, the less likely it will happen. 50,000 Americans marching on Washington in protests not a good thing. The United States never goes to war against honorable, rational nations because they disagree. We fight "evil dictators" and "extremists" and bring Freedom to oppressed peoples by dropping bombs on them and killing their families. After all, we're the Good Guys. The Good Guys only fight the Bad Guys. Especially if they're Third World countries that can't kick our asses outright. Is anybody seeing the point in my sarcasm? Thursday, October 5, 2006 The Stock Market is posting record gains, while average people like you and me watch our wallets get thinner every day. I heard it explained that "perception" is not in line with Market performance. Excuse me? So we only PERCEIVE that we have less money? We're imagining it? Hey - maybe we should tell the bank that they only perceive we have payments due on loans. No, I guess that only works on TV news and the newspapers. The war is making rich people richer. And you KNOW who's paying for it. Just read your bank statement and perceive. I think the bottom is getting ready to drop out of the economy (Stock Market) real soon. Just as soon as the bankers decide to create another Great Depression, or at least a recession. That's one way the bankers make money. Click Photo Its all about money; the war in Iraq, the 'news' they spew at us and the fact that money is becomming so hard to get. When the American economy goes down the toilet the bankers will not lose money. Red China is being groomed to move in and take our place as the next industrial Superpower, with India in a supporting role. Don't you notice how many cheap, high quality products in American stores right now were made in China and Tiawan? They can do it cheaper because their workers don't get paid anywhere near as much as we do. China is Communist. Chinese people don't NEED as much money as we do because the government supplies health care, housing, gas and electric and just about everything else. Dealing with a country is far more profitable than nickel and diming individuals. The International Bankers who own and control our Federal Reserve Board have centuries of experience with that. My advice? Do what you can to "kill the bank" like President Andrew Jackson did (which, admittedly, is practically nothing). And learn to speak Chinese. Wednesday, October 4, 2006 "Faces of Evil" "Hate" Buzz words that push all the right buttons in our heads when our mass media wants us to hate countries halfway around the world and condone acts of evil against innocent people who live there. I read a news article that referred to Hugo Chavez' UN speech as "Non Stop Hate." Maybe Venezuela will soon be invaded?) Our military is getting ready to increase the number of troops by AT LEAST 60,000. We all know that number can easily double or triple. I recently watched a video of Chavez' speech (an interpreter translated). There was no "hate" in it. Chavez spoke to the other "Non-Aligned" countries and said that American Imperialism was a danger to them all. Yes, he did call Bush "the Devil" but he backed it up by speaking about all the bullying our government subjects Third World countries to, especially when the oil companies or the bankers want their resources. "Everywhere he looks, he [Bush] sees 'extremists'." I LISTENED to what the man had to say. Did you? Don't just accept "He's a nutjob" or "Hate filled message" without actually READING it or viewing it for yourself. As for that cut and paste al-Qaeda silent movie, well, hey were you born yesterday? Tuesday, October 2, 2006 A new video of the Taliban terrorists surfaced recently. Trouble is it has no SOUND. It purports to show two 911 terrorists, Atta and Jarra, "smirking" and laughing it up 18 months before the Trade Center attack. Its being toted as "Proof positive" that they knew eachother before 911 and that "al-Qaeda was running the show."  Click Here for 1.8MB News Video We see footage of Osama bin Laden speaking to his al-Qaeda nogoodnicks, too. The video is cobbled together, interspersing file footage of Osama bin Laden and others. The date/time stamps vary between segments. Besides, date/time stamps can be faked, anyway How do we know WHAT anybody is SAYING? THERE AIN'T NO SOUND! Are we supposed to look at unrelated video clips spliced together with NO SOUND and accept it as "Proof positive"? It could have went this way: Osama: "My camel has no nose." Al-Qaeda nogoodick: Then how does he smell? Osama: "TERRIBLE!" *All chant Allah Akbar* This video is really a collection of segments from file footage sloppily spliced together. Notice the disappearing and reappearing date stamps.
This is professional propaganda but al-Qaeda didn't splice this silent mess together.
Ex-Congressman Foley may very well cost the Republicans control of the House. How many Republican Congressmen knew about it for years, but kept quiet? How many more Republican resignations will there be? But, hey, it don't matter if the Democrats or Rebublicans have a House or Senate majority. Ultimately its the bankers and the industrialists who control the House, Senate and our president. From my commentary on 'The Money Masters', a 1995 PBS Special. Video included here. The same people ran it; only the name was changed. The stockholders (bankers) never paid anywhere near what they should have for their shares. They took the $2Million the goverment had invested and loaned it to eachother to pay the difference. The BUS was controlled by the Rothschilds. Hamilton had become a tool of the internations bankers and a lackey of Amschel Rothschild. Amschel announced, "Let me issue and control a nation's money and I care not who writes the laws." In 1811, Congress did not renew the BUS's charter, calling it "A swindle." Nathan Roschild threatened that America would suffer a disastrous war if the bank's charter was not renewed. Within 5 Months England attacked, starting the War of 1812. The British were still fighting Napoleon, so the war ended in a draw in 1814." October 1, 2006 As we all know, President Bush got his new Anti-Terror Bill signed into law. Military tribunals will handle terror suspects. No Bill of Rights, no Due Process and the president made a list of all of the "interrogation methods" he deems "permissible." Be very careful who you talk to on the street. If a "Known Terrorist" asks you for directions you might be photographed and hauled before a Tribunal. Can't happen, you say? What if you attend a protest rally and a "Known Terrorist" just happens to ask you where the nearest Burger King is? This new law is begging to be abused. Hell, its very EXISTENCE is as abuse of government power and a violation of the Constitution. It was MADE to be abused. When Fascism comes it will be wrapped in an American flag. Just like this new "Detainee" law. -- I left a few September Rants -- Friday Morning, September 29, 2006 President Bush this morning is "hailing" last nights Senate passage of a Bill that reinterprets the Geneva Conventions. They can sugar coat it all they want with phrases like "prohibits the severe abuse of detainees" but it also gives the president "leeway to decide which OTHER interrogation techniques are permissible." Military commissions will be set up to prosecute terror suspects. Didn't we just recently hear about an innocent man that was apprehended for being a "suspected terrorist" and shipped off to Syria where he was tortured into signing a stack of false confessions? - He was photographed having a brief conversation in the street with a "Terror Suspect". They even had the poor shmuck confess to being a trained al-Qaeda terrorist. It was finally found out that he had never stepped foot in Pakistan, Afghanistan or any other 'stan. Get this straight, boys and girls - if you are suspected of being involved with terrorism you can be 'judged' by a military commission and subjected to "which other interrogation techniques" the president thinks are OK. Military commissions tend to loosely interpret the Bill of Rights. When standing before a military tribunal - I mean, 'commission', you do not have Due Process rights or any other rights unless the inquisitors decide to let you have them. If you are photographed speaking to a "Suspected Terrorist" on the street you can be taken into custody and subjected to "which other interrogation techniques are permissible." "Excuse me, sir, can you direct me to Mott Street? "Let me show you my map. Here, see this marked spot? Which is the best way to get there from here? Do I go THIS way or THAT way? "Oh, I see what you mean. Just go around that way, turn left here and its right there." You've just been photographed 100 times by FBI Agents with telephoto lenses having an animated conversation with a "Known Terrorist." You even used a MAP to direct him to commit acts of terror. Or what if a 'terror suspect' "accidentally" bumps into you on a busy street? A few seconds of apologies, gesturing and "forget about its" can be photographed and used against you in a Court of La - oh, wait, silly me. Military commissions are not Courts of Law. You have no Constitutional rights there. But, hey, this new legislation won't be MISUSED to go after innocent people. Naaah, they won't use this new "Anti-Terror Tool" to intimidate and eliminate political opposition and Free Speech. After all, "That can't happen HERE. Late Thursday Night, September 28, 2006 A videotape taken by a Halliburton employee surfaced in the news. It was taken a year ago(?) and shows the military escort abandoning the Haliburton convoy. Halliburton workers were murdered by insurgents as a result. The families were told by Haliburton that their loved ones had died instantly in a roadside bombing. The guy with the video cam was in truck 5, the shooting victims were in truck 3 and truck 1 had turned over after getting shot up. OK, this guy is presumably looking at the scene of the murders but where IS everybody? Can you see any gunmen, muzzle flashes or any activity at all? It smells fishy to me. Since the 'insurgents' had just witnessed the armored Humvees scooting off and abandoning the convoy, don't you think they would have lingered long enough to find and kill the cameraman? President Bush's approval rating is dropping like Dick Cheney's hunting partners. So what? Why would he care? He can't run for president again and we're stuck with him until his term runs out. Then some other bought and paid for figurehead will take his place. Presidents are just cardboard cut-outs with bankers and oil companies hiding behind them. Who cares if the Democrats or the Republicans control Congress? The Congress doesn't even have the power guaranteed by the Constitution to issue our money or control its value. Tuesday morning, September 26, 2006 Well, a bunch of generals got together and announced that they want to increase the size of our army by 60,000 or so. Do you think they're gearing up to expand the Mid East War(s) into Iran? Maybe they want to invade Venezuela. Some US Military Intelligence 'spook' might fire a few missiles at an American installation or even an American city from a helicopter with Venezuelan markings. We will all be outraged and demand 'retaliation'. Maybe they need to replace our own diminishing troops who keep coming home minus an arm or leg. Maybe they underestimated the resolve of the Iraqi Resistance Fighters who stubbornly refuse to give up their lands (and oil) without a fight. DON'T LET YOUR KIDS GO TO WAR! They are NOT "fighting to keep us free." They are being used as 'expendable assets' by the bankers and oil companies to commit an atrocity against the Arab peoples and steal their oil. THE DRAFT WILL BE REINSTATED. If that happens, tell your sons and daughters to become "Conscientious Objectors" Challenge the legality and the legitimacy of the war. "Mr. President, are we REALLY fighting terrorists in Iraq or are we just eliminating resistance and stealing their oil?" "Are we REALLY the 'Good Guys' or are our sons and daughters being fooled into committing crimes against humanity?" All this talk about the Bush Administration not doing enough to get Osama bin Laden is a red herring. Bin Laden DIED in late 2001 from kidney disease. Osama is just an icon; pictures of the black-bearded Osama have eclipsed those of the gray-haired, sickly Osama we used to see far more often. You may think I'm crazy now, but years from now it will (hopefully) be revealed that the "War on Terror" is just a lie and a pretext to get us to support mass murder so the oil and banking industries can make more money. In 2003 I 'ranted and raved' on the Google newsgroups that the Weapons of Mass Destruction were a lie and that Iraq would become a quagmire worse than Vietnam. People made fun of me. Until now. Our government might even begin limiting "Free Speech" and legislate against "Inflammatory Speech" or "Anti-American Speech." I'll be going to jail if that happens. Speaking out against our government would become illegal. Eventually the Constitution might be suspended altogether. All it takes is one more "911" to get us to go along with it. By the way, Hugo Chavez spoke the truth about 911 OUR OWN GOVERNMENT DID IT as a pretext for war. And they might do it again. Call me crazy all you want. I know I'm right. |
