Israel is retaliating against the Palestinians.
They bombarded a six square mile area between Gaza and Israel.
And they're flying supersonic combat jets very low over densely-populated Gaza night after night, all night long to frighten and torment civilians with constant sonic booms.
If you were to fly a jet airplane at MACH 1.5 just 200 feet above a population center here in the US, the sonic boom shockwaves would shatter thousands of windows and traumatize hundreds or even thousands of innocent children.
Imagine doing it all night long.

This video clip was taken from a national TV news broadcast.
It claims to show a rocket attack being launched from the area that was bombed.
It looks like some GIs were fooling around with a model rocket and the video found it's way to the propaganda mills.
How much fuel can a tiny rocket like this hold?
Judging by the almost vertical lift off and lack of any kind of tube or other way to aim it, one can safely assume that it quickly expended it's solid fuel engine and fell a short distance away.
The video only shows us the initial launch and the "tracking smoke." The video ends there because the dinky little rocket was about to eject a parachute and fall safely for reuse, or just fall.
WHEN and WHERE was this video made? Is it a week old or three YEARS old?

Did you ever play with model rockets when you were a kid?
I did. That's why I know that this thing is a model rocket.
Do you realize just how difficult it is to pack a WORKING solid propellant rocket engine?
Many years ago I tried - and failed.
You just need too much equipment; strong oxidizer, propellant epoxy to
hold it together...it's a nightmare.
PLUS, if the rocket engine cracks while drying, your hobby shop project will explode
on lift-off. Very disappointing.
If you use a simple moistened black powder mixture to ram the rocket engines
(You need to actually pound the mixture into a casing with a spindle cone and a rammer),
the danger of cracking increases.
That's why the majority of model rocket enthusiasts just build the rocket itself
and BUY factory-made rocket engines.
Oh, and use a LOT of fire-proof wadding between the ejection charge and the parachute
or else the chute will burn up.

I lost a good two-stage model rocket that way.
It was badly damaged when it came down
Ah, memories...

By the way, that last scene shows heavy equipment being used to demolish Israeli settlers' homes after they left Gaza.
Perfectly good housing that could have been used by dirt-poor Palestinians.
That's rather mean-spirited, spiteful and vindictive, isn't it?
