Here's a subliminal impotence commercial from Boston Medical
There's a rather crude double-entendre at the beginning:
"Have Viagra or similar products let you down?"

Now for some of the more subtle content:
Phallic Imagery:

The Red Baron's airplane is a very powerful symbol of virility.
This man is "repairing" it.

The couple have spent a satisfying night together and are having breakfast.
Love life restored:
Multiple phallic and yanic (vaginal) symbols,
including the 'erect' spout, cup, saucer, parts of
the wife's pink nightgown and the man's fingers
on the newspaper; fingers phallic, newspaper yanic.
Wife is content, husband proud.
Their eyes are locked, their hands are embracing.
His "coffeepot spout" stands erect, ready to refill her "cup."
The back of her chair is a yanic image adorned with leaves.
The leaves represent fertility.

TRIUMPH!
A man's necktie represents retraint of his aggression and sexuality, necessary in civilized society and professional situations.
The wife is staking her rightful claim to her husband's manhood by restraining it.
In fact, the tie itself symbolizes a penis.
It's just another Archetype from the Collective Unconscious.
The husband stands proud and strong - he again HAS virility to devote to his wife.

Notice his body language of wolfish sexual aggression at the start of the scene and how he straightens up into a more "neutral" attitude as his wife symbolically ties his penis (necktie) into a knot.

Who would think that such storylines exist in a short TV commercial or even in a magazine photo?
The professional subliminal advertising technicians on Madison Avenue do and they're counting on YOU to pass the information I've given you off as nonsense.
The advertising you DON'T see is the advertising that works.

This commercial seems to be directed at older couples.
It might even be manipulating menopausal or post-menopausal women (subconsciously) with the promise of restored youth and fertility.
Remember, the uncounscious mind is not rational.
