Scroll Down to see two different faces of Zarqawi. ************************************************** Notice that the words, "The Iraqis" are prominently displayed with the video, to drill into our heads that Iraqi=Enemy. A 'respected News Anchor' presents us with this newest serving of piping hot nonsense, so of course we accept it and believe it. The Zarqawi story is being played repeatedly, somewhat reminiscent of the coverage of the 9-11 atrocity. Now we're told that al-Qaeda makes up only about 5% of the "insurgency." Why is al-Qaeda being played down now? Al-Qaeda being portrayed now as just a minor or even fringe "player." "There are some 14 major groups and al-Qaeda is merely one of them." The insurgency consists of about 30,000 or so "evil doers," we're further told. Destroying Al-Qaeda (which doesn't exist) will not effect the progress of the War in Iraq. Minimizing the importance of "al-Qaeda" will quell disappointment and anger here at home when we are NOT given a speedy victory. |

You know the story. Two US fighter planes each dropped a 500 pound bomb on the building where Zarqawi was "hiding out" or whatever. Now we see standard, stock footage of a very satisfying blast that we're told is Zarqawi going "BOOM." Below are still photos taken from TV news. |
