UPDATE March 30, 2006
Jill Carroll has been released.
She said she was not harmed, threatened or abused.
Her captors even allowed her to shower.
She had plenty of good food and "nice furniture."
She apparently DOES NOT KNOW WHO KIDNAPPED HER OR WHY
She said that she doesn't know why she was abducted and according to ABC News,
"She doesn't know much about what actually happened to her or what was happening to her over those 82 days."
That's rather odd, isn't it?
Maybe the story will change later on.
Something that surprised even me was this truthful (and anti-war) message that Jill made on tape shortly before her release.

Yup, it looks like Jill Carroll might become the new "Hanoi Jane" for
condemning the US war in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Maybe the "Helsinki Syndrome" might be used to defend her.
Also, she might be excused for her "Hanoi Jane-esque" comments due
to fear and concern for fellow hostages.
Ellen Knickmeyer resurfaced to voice the "concern for fellow hostages" defense for Jill's anti-war, anti-Bush statements.
Knickmeyer said,
"There's other hostages in Iraq right now and it's not looking out for other hostages to slam hostage takers."
Her father said she told him that "her kidnappers told her she had to make this tape in order to be released; that it was the price of freedom." and he said his daughter "had been taught to fear" the kidnappers who had killed her translator.
No doubt we may not find out Jill Carroll's "real feelings about her captors until she's safely back at home."

Well, Jill Carroll did indeed change her tune.
She tells us now that she WAS abused, threatened and in fear of being killed.
Jill says her captors are criminals and that she was forced to make those
"anti-American" statements in the video in order to be released.
The whole scheme was cooked up by US Military Intelligence.
Jill isn't lying.
Her "captors" ARE criminals.

From "a dangerous Baghdad neighborhood." - That's the first clue.
Baghdad is inside the "Green Zone," a very heavily fortified and "cleared" area. One of the very few areas in Iraq where American military personnel can feel safe, except for the occasional rocket or mortar round lobbed over the wall.

Contrary to recent news interviews(4-01-06), adductions and attacks do NOT, CAN not occur inside the Green Zone.
The Green Zone is a fortress, plain and simple, heavily guarded inside and out.

The few Iraqis who live in Baghdad (in the Green Zone) are poverty stricken but Americans are safe.
The (original) "hostage video" has a "frame skip" that shows the date stamp,

BOTH videos have an American style ("zone 1") date stamp in the same frame location and are the same size and color.
Were both videos made on the SAME CAMERA?
In the SAME HOTEL SUITE?
Did it start as a juvenile prank and turn into major propaganda that Jill can't get out of?
Also, video time stamps can be faked. Just adjust the settings on the camera.
But the time stamps are still the same American type, same size, color and position.
Al Jazeera, the "Arab Media" is run by Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is a business partner of our banking and oil companies. Arabs laugh at that "Arab Media" because they know it for the hogwash it is.

Jill on Christmas. Her companions' faces are digitally hidden.
Could this be the same room where the Christmas party took place?
Look closely for similarities that haven't been covered or otherwise disguised.

Knickmeyer celebrated Christmas with Jill "just weeks before her abduction."
"[Jill] was abducted on 7 January 2006 in al-Adl district, Baghdad, while she was on her way to interview politician leaders there."

Another clue that the abduction may be a [deadly?] hoax:
Knickmeyer: "She USED TO call her Abaya her 'bullet-proof Abaya.'"
She spoke about her in the past tense. Ellen also appeared to be frightened. Actually she seemed to be terrified of something or someone in the room with her.
At one point Ms. Knickmeyer glances toward her left at a some unknown person or thing with unabated trepidation.

Was Knickmeyer afraid that Jill might be sacrificed to anger the American people into demanding retribution?
Whatever the case, Ellen most likely "knew too much" and she was terrified she might be silenced.
Our Military Intelligence brutally murdered over 2000 Americans on 9/11 to get us all to support the war(s) in the Mid East.
Why would they hesitate to murder a couple of journalists?

More clues: The allegation that Jill wore a Moslem Abaya, yet Iraq is a SECULAR state, where women can wear makeup and western style clothing. They can also get educations and enter professions. Male literacy rate under Saddam was about 55%, for women it was 45%.
